Not even close. Franco was an after thought who hung around because look how old he is haha. His Satanic Majesty is still a top 5 QB and winning rings.

There's never been this kind of dominance in NFL history. This is Gretzky/Jordan level.

I’m not saying ability wise; just comparing ages. Franco played into his 50s because he loved baseball. Brady is continuing into his 40s because he has that same passion for football. It’s pretty cool to see for both of them, even if Franco was never the best player.

Another view of it - the man currently leading the league in touchdown passes was alive when Charlie Chaplin was alive.

It's not though. Clearly he's an outlier, but age will take it's toll regardless.
Age always takes it's toll at some point, but Brady's broken all the pre-conceptions. Hard to believe he'll still be playing at 50 but the way he's going now, who's going say no? I gave up saying no when it comes to him. Spooky!

I'll say it, just as I said it at age 38, 39, 40, 41 ....... Eventually I'll be right.

Satchel Paige went 12-10 at 45 with an ERA of 3.07 and was second in the AL in saves. That's the closest I can think of.

Gordie Howe scored 41 points for the Whalers at 51. Brady's unreal, though. We'll never see his likes again.
