There is a difference though between being sworn in during a meeting with the NFL and that of actual in court. I mean he can actually go to prison for lying in court where we are talking he just keeps his 4-game suspension in the NFL if he is found to have lied.

Lying under oath in a deposition is perjury. It's my understanding he was under oath at the appeal hearing.
