Bradford for Foles??

I really, really hope this doesn't end up being like the Saffold deal.

Does anyone know if Sammie or Foles must pass a physical first for the deal to be valid?

I don't know Vita. The details of the draft picks that were involved have still not been released. So I expect the passing of the physical will be kept quiet as well. But you have a valid point and several posters on here will have a lot of explaining to do if it does turn-out to be a Saffold-type deal. Yikes!!

Yea I get that. It is a pretty exciting time to be a Rams fan but as Vita has pointed out, hopefully Sammie will pass the physical and we will not have a Saffold-type deal where the deal falls through because Sammie failed the Philly team physical.

I agree Clayton. Go to the Negativity thread. Ozark has posted a nice 8 minute tape of Foles. He looks pretty good. He's mobile, he can throw on the run, and he makes quick decisions. Check it out.

Exactly... while I am not altogether excited about Foles, it gives us almost 24 million in total cap room to play with now. Already seeing the benefit of that with Kendricks coming back. Plus Foles is in his last year as well. If he does not play well, buh bye and we start fresh, just like we would have if Sam did not perform.

And btw, not sure anyone has mentioned this yet. There is NO WAY Sam Bradford EVER takes a snap as an Eagle. He will either be a Titan or Jet...book it

I think our draft is shaping up to be another good talent draft. O-lineman could dominate. You should read what the Philly fans are saying. They are none too happy about this trade. Some of it is very comical and a lot of it echos what we have been stating for five years here on the Rams board.

I agree LTRF. This is a great deal. Now we have our fourth back from the Barron deal, we lose our fifth with this Foles deal and we lose our sixth from the Barron deal. We still have our seventh this year I believe.

It could happen Ozark. According to the Commish, Bradford is going end up in either Jets-land or with the Titans as Chip is going to package a similar deal to move up as well.
