Y'all can stop on the Wentz crap now. I don't think we will see him in a Washington uniform again.

My thing was I wanted to give him a chance but 2-5 with 3 Ints against Cleveland ... good luck in your future Carson.

On to a new owner. :D

I wanted to start Wentz to over TH at that point. It wasn’t that I thought he would succeed, he just had a chance of success in the playoffs. I know what TH is, a good backup. I also know what CW is now…out of the league.

Talked big about how I wanted to lose this game. Once the game started I immediately was rooting hard for my Skins.

Once the Texans won, I knew Chicago was picking first. Don't have the ammo to get that pick, and the Texans aren't coming off of #2. So I was cool.

Pretty sure Ron is here next year. I'm indifferent about Scott. Kinda hoping he gets fired, but if he doesn't it's not a big deal to me. Jack Del Rio didn't have Allen, Davis, Holcomb, BSJ, and Curl had had his unit ready to play.

I saw enough from Howell to know he belongs. Better arm than Wentz, feels pressure but doesn't panic. Not scared to run. Doesn't fully grasp the offense. You could tell Scott kept it simple for him. Threw a terrible ball in the endzone. Could be a major steal for Ron and Co.

Patterson is a bowling ball.

McLaurin and Dotson. Can't say enough. What a great trade back that was. Needs to be said. Dotson, Robinson Jr. and Howell? Correct me of I'm wrong about Howell being part of that.

Offensive Line was good. Paul looks massive. Leno and Cosmi held up. Still need a guard in FA or the 2nd round.

Watching Bostic and Mayo flounder all year. Ron gives Hudson a shot......game ball. What are we doing?

Fuller got em. Nice pick. Butler was flying around. McCain needs to go back to safety next year. Slot's not for him.

Slye.......my goodness

Dax won't be returning punts and kicks next year, but I liked what I saw from him in the slot last preseason. Hope they give him a real shot to stick.

Howell's performance was good enough for me to not get desperate and trade for Carr. It was good enough where I might pass on QB this draft. Glad to hear Heinicke hasn't closed the door.

Like this roster. We're close. Plug some holes. Pay Payne, find QB1 if you haven't already.

Oh, what would a Aaron Rodgers trade look like?
Scott has to go.

A Rodgers trade would be an unmitigated disaster unless he come here for two years at 20 mil per year.

Paul did look good, but I still hope they look at guard as a need. The kid from USC Vorhees played RG most of his career there
They still need to improve the OLine by 2-3 players. That would be my number one focus.

Chew on this .... what about JDR as HC next year? He has had ups and downs. 2024 new ownership is in place and will have time to search for a coach.

Sheehan mentioned Rodgers this morning. Just something to keep an eye on.

I honestly don’t think I’d like to trade for Rodgers. Might be a dumb take, but definitely wouldn’t give a first for him. IMO he’s already retired wether he plays or not.

I've thought about that. So much up in the air. I think Ron is safe though and I'm expecting Scott to get fired in the coming days. Could be wrong.

I hear you. Yesterday was a bad loss for his legacy.

Rodgers has one foot out the door already, and is getting up there in terms of age. Besides, if nothing is done to fix the oline then it wouldn't really matter who you put back there.

The resources used to upgrade the offensive line would more than likely be used in signing Rodgers too.

Trading down in the draft and adding olinemen by volume (including in free agency) is the most prudent way to fix the offensive line.

New owners in Denver want to make a splash (Rodgers/Brady) Russell Wilson will need a new home, will a new owner here bite?

For Howell to succeed, Turner must go. You can in no way have Turner run the offense while attempting to develop Howell. What has Turner done to stay employed as the OC here? I am still waiting on an answer.

We still take a QB in the draft. We may just not need to trade picks to get one. We can take a qb with a lower pick, just like with Howell.
most of my mocks have us going qb late , duggan , haener , and the ucla qb , sometimes malik cunningham

the win cost us 2 spots in the draft , no big deal in my opinion

the notes section here is worth looking at on hudson , butler, johnson , paul and cosmi

It saved us from ourselves. Now we don’t have to reach for a QB or give up three future firsts to get one. Howell did enough to warrant not panicking.
