not really

they have a higher ERA and WHIP than the Royals

middle of the pack in both categories

"Lord have mercy, half the staffs in the big leagues have insane pitching."

Without looking it up, there's no way the Yankees are middle of the pack in ERA

Yankees dont even need Derek Jeter at this point. Just let him sit out the season. Low scoring games late and close, you need a SS in there that has more range than my bath tub. But theyll have to play him, he'll have to play SS and more balls will be hit that his way that wont be caught. And we'll hear about how he wasnt 100%, but gave it 110.

What is Utley's contract situation? Is it up after this year? I forget.

I can see the Phillies making a push for him if Utley's gone

Blue Jays can't afford anymore mega contracts - they have too many terrible long term commitments currently on the books

Rangers have Kinsler

Indians don't have the money

Dark horse? Depending on whether the owners forget they're joos?

The Mets.

A lot of money is coming off the books for them, and Madoff should be far enough in the rear-view mirror

really? please discuss all the long term contracts that would hold the blue jays back from spending more money?

There's few things I wouldn't do to get Nunez off of the Yankees

i wasnt a smoker then (i started shortly after tho!)

i was also about 225 lbs then

the only reason i even got a 10 day deal was because i played with craig janneys first cousin...he arranged the tryouts thru a coaching friend he had in charlotte...i had size and had no problem hitting. i was a good guy to have in camp.

CJ (dans nickname, i.e Craig Janney...we called him CJ due to the relation) made the team but only stuck on for 2 seasons before he called it a career.

Lol... hey "big hitter" u forget about the stories you used to tell about being a goalie?

and you do realize rogers is a multi billion dollar business who owns the jays. and have been on record saying they could sustain a payroll above 150 million
