1 B. Gardner (L) $3.3K (OF)
2 I. Suzuki (L) $3.5K (OF)
3 R. Cano (L) $4.4K (2B)
4 T. Hafner (L) $3.5K (1B)
5 B. Boesch (L) $2.4K (OF)
6 C. Nelson (R) $2.6K (3B)
7 Corban Joseph NA (1B)
8 C. Stewart (R) $2.4K (C)
9 Alberto Gonzalez NA (SS)

1-5 all lefties. 2 guys ..."who the fuck?"

Just to make it to the ECHL is impressive. For a guy 300 lbs, you must have been pretty good on skates. I give credit when credits due. No way were you smoking a pack a day.

i wasnt a smoker then (i started shortly after tho!)

i was also about 225 lbs then

the only reason i even got a 10 day deal was because i played with craig janneys first cousin...he arranged the tryouts thru a coaching friend he had in charlotte...i had size and had no problem hitting. i was a good guy to have in camp.

CJ (dans nickname, i.e Craig Janney...we called him CJ due to the relation) made the team but only stuck on for 2 seasons before he called it a career.

You said they were phasing him out, which is just complete bull shit and you didnt know what you were talking about, all in an attempt to make that trade look possible. Its all right though, at least I got Rock to talk hockey with.

I know exactly what I'm talking about it because it's precisely what they did.

Google Ovechkin phased out and then start reading from the scores of hockey writers who also "don't know what they're talking about"

Impressive as hell to me, I had to quit playing when I was young because of ankle injuries.

yeah the obp is fine.....but he is like james loney light right now

Key words being "right now"

He has a long enough track record to accurately predict.

His point production dropped because his goal percentage dropped to the lowest total of his career. In the 2010-2011 season his percentage was at .087, his career percentage is .125. That is goals divided by shots. Tells me he was pressing and taking bad shots that year. The next year he lowered his shots taken and brought his percentage back up to the norm.

As far as his minutes played, he played more minutes in the 10-11 season then he did in the 09-10 season so IDK what you are talking about there.

And if he hadn't taken 250 fewer shots on goal, I'd be more inclined to say that was the main factor...

Shushing Joba was the right thing to do. No one needs to hear Joba yelling at his redneck family from Nebraska.

Daniel Nava and Daniel Bard for Joey Votto.

"David Krejci is the Daniel Nava of hockey"

-Guys who don't follow hockey...

Sorry Oxlodge, your credibility went up in flames when you mocked the notion of Patrice Bergeron being the best two-way forward in hockey.

If if you think it's someone else, there is 0.00000% chance that he's not top 3..

Take these lessons that I teach and become a better poster for it.

Wait, is this a serious discussion?

Rock told us that he played backup goalie for a spell in high school and that he sucked...

Now he's going to try and sell you that he played in the ECHL?

Good lord, the bullshit is thick up in this bitch..

honestly, i dont discuss it like an achievement...

its kinda like getting a cup of coffee in low A ball really, and the only reason i got invited down was the relationship my friend had with janney and the family.

i will never say i was a pro player or anything, not close

Word...once it really starts to heat up outside. So should his power number

2012: Votto 8 Home Runs in April/May
2011: Votto 6 Home Runs in April/May
