I'm hoping Noone pulls away and Mariano gets at least a look this year

prolly should give it to him if he's even in the discussion

Blue Jays:

Leading the AL in home runs

3rd form the bottom in runs

Too bad the point of the game is to outscore the opponent, and not out-homer it

Ohhhhhh so a few weeks ago they were dead last in runs
The yankees had more homers than the jays (Very Petelike)
But the jays arent getting better and things arent starting to normalize
Like i have been saying.. i will have the last laugh

Angels that is why I said until they figure it out.

A's pitching is great and why they win.....hitting wise beyond Cespedes what do they have?

No that's untrue..A's are 4th in the Majors in runs scored per game..

Not saying they can maintain...but to this point..They haven't been an easy out...

Today would be the first time ever that you chose to go all troll after the jays won a series.

Heatwave can't seriously be this stupid, can he?

He can?

Oh ok

It's like black people complaining about how police target minorities

"They're predominantly in black neighborhoods because of our skin color, not because that's where most crime happens"

In Heatwave's mind, the lack of trolling after Jays' series wins has nothing to do with..... a lack of Jays series wins.

"remember all those opportunities VP had to troll after Jays series wins, and didn't?"

Pitching is dominating MLB right now. When you got starters dominating the league over 220 IPs, it's going to be awhile before you see a closer and his puny 65 IPs win the CY again.

True. It's a long shot scenario, but no starter stands out this season, Mariano is phenomenal, and voters see it as a lifetime achievement award

With that said, I know guys like Moore, Bucholz, Felix, Sale, have all been great, so my scenario isn't playing out well

I heard he got into a little tiff with Joba because he shushed him.

I think it's every opposing fans' duty to shush Joba at every appearance for the rest of the season.

No offense Heat, I'll say it again, they can't pitch

That offense was always gonna come around, but there's always a cieling for a team that can't pitch

Sounds like I need to go check some stats.

What I know is:

Reddick has had a huge dropoff from last year.

When the Yankees played them in June/July last year the A's offense was the worst in the Majors and while they got hot late last year, I didn't see it this year.

We both know that MLB awards voting is an absolute sham, and if Mariano is even remotely in the discussion, a lot of voters will give it to him, just because

I agree that except for very extreme circumstances, relievers should not win Cy Youngs.... but when it comes to award season, what should happen and what does happen is very different

Worst comes to worst, they'll give Mariano a gold glove at Shortstop

Dirt, the offense isn't coming around, Heatwave's lying aside

They're 3rd from the bottom right now, ahead of only the Mariners and White Sox

That's pretty much where they've been the entire season.

They had a nice game yesterday. They're also 3 days removed from nearly being perfect-gamed by Lester

A's have a lot of no names

But they are playing well offensivly

Like Brandon Moss, Josh Donaldson... Jed Lowire has been great thus far. But that wont last...

However they do strikeout a ton and a .240 Team BA kinda stinks..But they have the Highest Walk Rate too.

They are not really a top 5 or top 10 offense. More Middling. IMO.. They will regress.
