This is overreaction Monday. Truth is, we really don’t know much about any of these teams yet. It’s still preseason imo, some teams will get rolling by about week 4 others will go backwards. Not good to lose “fritz”. This team will still be in a lot of games this season, but to go far they really need a franchise qb.

This is a real good statement.
However, the offense still looks as bad as it did last year, no creativity, or explosiveness, no chances. With TH that should change. The kicking game still sucks and a ton of head scratching decisions during key moments are still happening. The team isn't prepared to win or adapt. Terry is being wasted for some reason. We keep blaming poor QB play but washed up QBs around the league were Killing it, with good play calling.

btw matt ryan looks done. IF we suck this season maybe a blessing in disguise to get QB high in the draft. Clearly this team is not a QB a way from NFC supremacy. Still need 2 LB's, a slot corner, Guard, and a kicker who doesn't suck.

It was a mistake to sign him considering the QB room was already filled with junk. I get it that they couldn't fix everything in the short time that they've been here, but to completely whiff at QB under the guise that they want to find out if they are a "QB away" to total nonsense!

We had one that was better than anyone since at least Trent Green and maybe Theismann and we let him walk thinking he was easily replaced.

FWIW we did offer a trade for Stafford. The big question is should we had traded up in this years draft to get Fields or Jones. TH has a shot to put this issue to bed if he succeeds.

Losing Fitz might turn out to be a blessing in disguise if Turner is holding him back. Heiney at least knows the offense so all options should be available for him to play and Turner to call.
