Bolles looks night and day compared to last year, I’m leery when a player makes those kind of strides in a contract year, but I hope this Bolles is here to stay
Even running down that dude after the turnover and saving the TD. The kid seems “all in”.

I don’t think Bolles is the kind of guy to “turn it off” after a big pay day. He seems like a genuinely hard worker, who is an honest person. But we’ve all seen it happen. I didn’t like the draft pick, but he has proven he can play in this league at a high level. Hopefully this signing inspires his motivation

The promising thing about Bolles is this started happening late last year. I know we have all griped about Bolles at some point but if there has ever been a player I have ever felt is as dedicated to being a better players week in and week out and giving an organization all he has, it is Bolles. That is my favorite thing about Bolles. He is giving everything he has to this team, a promise he stayed true to on draft night.

This is what I like most about Bolles. I don't feel Bolles is inspired by money. I feel he works hard day in day out because:
A. He loves football.
B. He loves his teammates.
C. He appreciates the Broncos believing in him so he wants to prove them right.

Bolles never made excuses for his mistakes last year, he owend up to them, he promised to get better.

and....

He has!

Bolles has my trust.

Bolles and Von are 2 players that seem to be motivated by things outside of money. That is a good quality to have.

I know one of the knocks on us when picking Bolles was he was a lot older than the other top LT Prospects. Obviously talent is #1 but I know when you’re looking for a franchise player the younger the better just because they’ll be able to give you more quality years. But happy he was able to turn his career around.

As long as we don’t lose Munchak in the off-season I think Bolles will continue to get better.

Bolles has graded out as the #1 LT by PFT pretty much all season long. Pretty neat to see.

Longer deal than I expected. But overall, good news.

And certainly good for him and his family!

I was expecting 2-3 year extension but the way the contract is set up that is what it basically is and gives us flexibility beyond.

We are wrapping up our guys to make FA more enjoyable this year. Love it.

the reason it is a great deal is now we dont have to draft a OT in the first round . Besides he stuck around in the bad times and whined very little .. People talk about him being shakey that is on the ownership. changing as much as we did with QB's and style ... He will probable now finsh with use now let go win this one for Bolles !

The QB we trot out the field is way easier to block for....

You realize OC made that comment back in 2020? Back then it was VERY true statement too. Since 2019 Bolles has looked WAY better and much more consistent. It isn't just the QB, he has been pretty solid under bad QB's. Some years have been better then others, but his 4th year and these last two years have been REALLY good for him. Sure people can whine about his penalties which are much better then the start of his career but I am willing to take penalties here and there from a starting LT. I always think it is funny when I still see people talking about drafting OL early... We have crossed that bridge finally and we finally have good depth on the OL too.

You don't typically draft OL early to sit and learn either... With Bolles signed I think we can shut the door on an OL early in the draft now. Like I said before McGlinchey may not be worth every penny of his contract but we had to overpay at that time to get him and he has played really well this year and we have Palcweski who can play either spot with Frank Crum our guy learning (upside but we don't know what he will be just yet) Powers has played much better this year. Verdict probably still out on C but not enough to worry about drafting a C early. Wattenburg is improving each week. How do you know when people fail to analyze their own teams roster? When they wanna draft one early with 5 good starters and depth.. OL is just not position you draft early to sit. That is what the later rounds are for. Even say we were to release McGlinchey because of his contract to save money because we are still absorbing Russ's contract (not nearly as much as last year) but we would just plug Palc into a starting RT role, IMO. He proved he can start.

Bolles is a true Bronco, btw.. Always sticks up for his teammates. He is our enforcer... You mess with anyone you go through Bolles... He has been here since the beginning of our fall and he has never once hit UFA, he has always be willing to get the deal done before that point.

Little things about players that go a long ways with me. Bolles has been a true Bronco!!! A guy who should always be invited back to the stadium, with a loud cheer after his career is over.

Glad for him. 42 guaranteed isn't bad, and with his age I'd be surprised if he finished iymt out. But still gives us breathing room.

Nix on his rookie deal means we likely load up on weapons this off-season. Gonna be a fun off-season for once! Plus a likely playoff bid!

I remember when Bolles was drafted and a lot of people(don’t know how many Bronco fans also said this) disagreed with the pick claiming he was too old and we should’ve gone with Ryan Ramczyk instead. It definitely didn’t help that for his first couple years it looked like we should’ve gone with Ramczyk but Bolles has rebounded very nicely from his early struggles.

I really think bringing in Munchak saved his career

I always liked him . his problem has always been system overload . he was a project to begin with .add in the he is old ... and that is not really the truth . really his body did not get any NFL rigors(Mission I believe?) this means he should hold up thought out this contract .

He was as raw as it gets . One year in High School and one year in College .. that is what I remember

add in a new QB and pretty much a new OL coach every year it is a miracle he never left .
