Anbyone whos says that wont be excited next season because I don't agree with SE is absolutely wrong. I will be hoping and praying that I am wrong , as will most of the people who share my opinon. We will be rooting for Bo to finally pull his head out of his ass.

Well, might as well bump this thread because it happened......

And we're all going to hear about it. In fact, I've already heard someone on the radio mention it and read people posting it on Facebook.

So, here we are. Bo Pelini joins Elite company, even with some of the worst losses in the history of the program.

He is only the fifth coach in college football history to start his career with 6- 9 win seasons, hense this thread sir :suds:

I understand the thread, but just point out that Bo has more games in season to win 9 games, where as the other coaches (minus Peterson and I don't really count cause he is non BS league)

So, yes I congratulate him but think topic of thread is skewed.

Its skewed only if you dont take into consideration that none of the other coaches out there hired in the same time period have done it, will some , almost certainly, have they ,not yet.

While I am scratching my head over needing the bowl game win to get to 9 wins, it is better than the bowl game loss and ending at 9 wins or less.

I just wanted to point out that "hangin" hat on 9 wins a season now is a bit different then getting 9 wins 10-15 years ago. You can have 2 extra games for that 9 game mark now.

Better gauge would be coach that had 2-3 or less loses in 6+ seasons

well you can only put one name on the list then, Chris Petersen is the only coach to have less than 2-3 losses per season in his first 6. The additional opportunities for loss would disqualify the others.:noidea:
