T.O. Played fewer games per year, yet played more ranked opponents per year.

It fits in nicely with my thread showing Bo's atrocious record vs teams with 9 wins or more.

Bo gets more patsies (opportunities) to pad the 9 win stat.

I would assume he's talking about the general statements made by posters about TO not being that great and Nebraskas schedules being filled with a bunch of nobodys. I verified the info that was copied over from the poster on the other board so I don't think that's his issue, unless he believed for some reason it was bogus.

Yep, nothing that you guys posted. It is more about people in their 20's that don't have the "back" knowledge of football throughout the 70's, 80's, and 90's.

Second off, if it is so easy to win 9 games 5 seasons in a row in "today's era" of football, then why in the FUCK isn't anyone else doing it? There are several teams out there facing less difficult schedules than the ones we are......

Answer that question for me before you go stroking off over how lucky a guy is for being one of the winningest coaches in his first 5 seasons in the entire history of College Football.

This is true, and not only that, Mad Dog still loses some of those games that should be automatic wins.

Congrats on Bo winning so many games in 6 years. We apparently should erect a statue of him and put it on the 50 yard line. 56-24 in 6 years. Tied for the 10th most wins in the last 6 years.

Alabama, Oregon, Ohio St, Oklahoma, LSU, Florida St, Oklahoma St, Stanford, Virginia Tech, Florida, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Cincinnati, Michigan St, Texas, USC, South Carolina, Georgia, Clemson, Missouri, Auburn, Notre Dame, Texas Tech, Georgia Tech, and West Virginia all make up the top 25 winningest BCS programs over the last 6 years in that order. Utah and TCU were not added because they haven't been in BCS conferences the whole time.

Only 8 of our 56 wins were against top 25 teams. That is 3rd lowest of the 25 (the high is 27 wins). 14.2% of our 56 wins is against ranked teams. That ranks 24th of the 25 (the highest is 37.5%). Our winning percentage vs ranked teams is 36.3%. That is the 5th lowest (the high is 80%). Score differential in games vs ranked teams is -5.27 for Nebraska. That ranks 18th (the high is 13.6).

Glad to know that Bo has racked up so many wins vs such a vast amount of quality opponents.

All the other coaches out there play that many games....why aren't they winning that many?

To sit here and make excuses for why a guy has won as many games as he has is even more pathetic than to make excuses for why a guy has lost games.

There are no excuses for either. Facts are facts. If you want to point out statistics then point them all out....not just the ones that you want to. There are good and there are bad things about Bo Pelini.

Those of you who think he is another Bill Callahan should probably just wake up in the morning and swallow 8 tylenol pms.....cuz thar is no hope for ye.
