I think this is a time we can be cautiously optimistic that we at least have a QB that should be a starter for the next few years. He still has a long ways to go to prove he should be the long-term solution at QB and get that 2nd big contract. On a rookie contract during his rookie year though I don't think we could have asked for much more espeically with how he has played over the last month. He has been the best rookie QB in weeks 5-8 and probably should get a bit more talked about for rookie of the year. I know Daniels has the leg up in that department and should, but I don't think the gap is as wide as some believe.

He also joins the list of Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, Baker Mayfield, and Kirk Cousins as only QB's this year to have a game with 4+ TD's in a game with 0 INT's and 70% completion.

In October for the entire NFL he was 12th in completion percentage, 12th in passing yards, 4th in TD's, 8th in TD to INT ratio, 10th in passer rating, and 10th in aDOT

They will be fine. Two rookies aren’t gonna exactly set the world on fire through 10 games on a deep ball connection. We need to unleash Mims a bit more too.
