Its interesting because one of the draft nitpicks I kept hearing about Nix was his inability to attack the intermediate and deep middle of the field. He was a dink and dunk QB and now that is what teams want to force him into.
It is not going to work . nothing will work .

I seen that he struggled he will see that same thing this week ..it wont matter he will figure out .

to be honest he is the first QB we drafted that is for real that I can think of . kind of sad .

Yes bone head was a real QB...Cutler was the frown cannon . maybe with Shanahan

The difference is I love Bo game not for one thing . but all of his game and his personality is solid and his coach and all his teammates are 100% behind him .

I got to CO. in 2010 so I missed the Cutler years. But my wife is a lifelong Broncos fan so I've heard plenty about his time in Denver.

I should have said I meant finding the franchise QB since Peyton retired. My bad on that.

It's gonna be fun watching Nix get better each year. Was planning to move back to the Vegas area a couple of years ago but that got put on hold when I found out I was gonna become a grandpa. So gonna be in CO. a little longer than expected, but that's okay. At least I don't live in fucking boulder anymore, I hated it there.

Cutler was fun to watch for the most part when he had Shanahan as his coach. You could tell there were still things of his game missing though and there were going to be a lot of Brett Favre kind of games where he is either the biggest reason we won or the biggest reason we lost. He was a maddening player to watch many times. But then he would have those magical moments that kept you thinking just maybe something was there.

Honestly he reminds me a bit of what we have seen Caleb Williams do this year.

Haven't seen much of daBears this season. But Williams is without a doubt an upgrade from Fields for Chicago.

What I like about this season is Broncos games are fun again. Haven't been able to say that for a while.

I think Williams will eventually be an upgrade. I don't think you can say he is an upgrade right now. That Bears offense is a mess right now. Not Williams fault completely but he is missing wide open WR's at times as well. His running around heroics have worked some in the NFL but he has to learn the on time layup plays that are given to him. He is like a better version of Richardson from the Colts in that situation.

And yes great to have the Broncos being fun again. It has been a bit of a weird season with so much up and down, but now we've reached the point that even a bad looking game the Broncos still can win by double digits. I still have no clue how the Broncos won this one and yet the score was 31-13.

One of the biggest differences this year is that the Broncos control their own destiny with only three games left to play. That's not something we're used to!

I'm not predicting this but the Broncos have a chance to win 12 games this year. Also something we haven't seen since PFM was running the offense. If I had to guess, they'll win 1 or 2 of the last 3 games. I'm confident that we're going to have double digits in the win column. That feels so good.

The game on Sunday was crazy. Can't remember the last time a rookie QB had 3 int's but still won.

Has he set every Broncos rookie QB record yet? And he better get some serious consideration for offensive ROY. Because nobody had the Broncos playoff bound this season.

At one point this season we had less than 5% chance of making the playoffs after starting 0-2. Crazy how far this team has come going 9-3 since then. And there are still people struggling to take this team serious because so many had the preconceived idea the Broncos were going to be bad this year.

Oh he is the record book at this point. And I would agree he should at least be in the consideration for OROY. I don't think he will win it unless he goes crazy these last few games of the year, but just fun to know we have a guy that many underestimated showing something great. Heck if he averages 2 TD's a game to close out the year he will finish top-3 in TD's by a rookie QB ever. The two above him won OROY.

By the way with 3 games remaining he is already 12th on the list. 2 more TD's and he passes the great Peyton Manning. He also passes CJ Stroud and everyone was raving about his season last year saying he is already a top-10 QB after his rookie season. If he gets 6 more he passes Russell Wilson for 3rd all time. Would be pretty funny to see him pass the guy he replaced.

Always a good sign when the Broncos are beating teams they're "supposed to beat." They've been hammering them too pretty much. Now it's time for that SIGNIFICANT WIN against a bonified team. Their best win of the season was at the Bucs. The Bucs have had a really nice season. On the road and Denver historically have had struggles in Florida (except for SBXXXIII.) To win at the Bucs on the road in that significant way...best win imo.

Thursday would be HUGE. Short week on the road against a well coached team coming off a humiliating defeat.

Would be really big for Nix if he looks great while winning.

That one was legit, for sure. Especially since it was the first win of the season.

I also think that win over the Falcons is getting overlooked. While that team has since spiraled into a disappointing season, going in they were solid, sitting at 6-4 while the Broncos has just gotten boat-raced by the Ravens and then there was that heart breaker against the Chiefs.

Yes that Ravens game...they've been one of those thorns...

Still remember Broncos starting out 6 and 0 with Mcdick in 2009. Including a big win against the Pats. They then went to Baltimore and got destroyed and it seemed to destroy the season and all delusions of grandeur that did exist.

Then the RAHIM MOORE debacle game. This year.....sigh

Something about the Ravens just does it to the Broncos. It's awful. Maybe penance for everything we did to that franchise when they were still the original Cleveland Browns?

I still don't know how to justify his arm strength when his combine throws were always at the bottom of the pack in velocity and other metrics. Last guy who puked at the combine was some guy named Brady, so....

There are some guys that get to the league and their arm improves. Tom Brady to me is a great example of seeing his velocity improve as his NFL career progressed.

It’s really impressive the growth that Nix has shown. Not going to lie, I wasn’t really holding out hope after the first 3 games. He sure looks like a franchise type guy now
