Bolles (so far). And that's all I'll say about that.

JJ and OJ have been the biggest surprises so far.

OJ brings that size/speed, physical style that we haven’t had at CB since Talib.

@Mingo, you excited about a guy 7 years older than you managing your White Sox?

(I would be!)

I don't know what to think about it - George. If you can be president and in your 70's - I suppose you can manage the Sox in your 70's. However, I don't see how La Russa matches up with the current ballclub full of young latino star players, or that it is likely he will be around for the entire window of opportunity this club seems to have to be playoff and world series competitors.

A lot will depend on who he hires to be his bench coach and pitching coach - I presume the Sox will keep the current hitting coach. But, Riensdorf is the owner and this is obviously his choice - Hahn has egg on his face because La Russa doesn't fit the description he announced when Renteria was fired.

This is like the Broncos hiring John Ralston back.

Surprising thus far to me has been how up and down Lock has been. It will be interesting to see how it plays out tomorrow, if he's any better.

As far as disappointments how about the lack of the RBs in the passing game?

So far we have 21 receptions for 126 yards and 1 TD.
Melvin Gordon - 13 receptions for 57 yards and 1 TD
Royce Freeman - 7 receptions for 58 yards and 0 TDs
Philip Lindsay - 1 reception for 11 yards and 0 TDs

That is an average of 3.5 receptions per game, for 21 yards, and 0.1667 TDs per game.

That was supposed to be a big change this year that the running backs were gong to help stress the defense. I wouldn't call that stressing the defense. Part of that could be that Lock has been trying to force the ball down field when he should be checking it down.

It would be nice to have a screen game, but with no offseason it is hurting our ability to get the timing down for the screen game. Hopefully 2021 has a normal offseason to help with some development and timing.
