Which player do you think has surprised you the most compared to what you were expecting before the season started? Could be better or worse.

For me it has to be Garrett Boles, I don’t think anyone expected him to be anything other than average this year at best and yet so far he’s likely our best Offensive Lineman. Do you think Munchak is the reason or is he finally learning the game and getting an understanding?

I will agree Bolles is a surprise.

I will add another name in DeMarcus Walker. Going into Training Camp he was thought to be cut, but he survived and had a role on the defense up until he was injured and placed on IR.

Essang Bassey also was not expected to make the roster but did and was playing until getting pulled in the Jets game.

I really thought Mingo would shine. Not only surprising, but disappointing, the lack of effort he has given.
Oh yea!

I'll give it to Jewell who has outplayed A.J. Johnson so far this year. Biggest disappointment is Justin Simmons. I guess biggest disappointment should be all the injuries. Having 5 to 7 starters out for most of the season so far has been tough.

Michael Ojemudia. I think he has done really well for a rookie DB. Better than I expected.

I'm actually going to go with Jewell over Bolles. I expected Bolles to look better now that he's actually had 2 years in the same system. As for Jewell he was thrust into the role and I think he's been pretty impressive. He had a solo tackle week 1 on Henry that was as textbook as they come. Looked like Henry just ran into a brick wall.

I'm definitely excited to see how some of these players develop. We have a young team and while I hate to keep saying "next year" most of us conceded this year to be a year of growth by the team. Hopefully we can get some of our young guys back on the field (Lock, Hamler) and start getting meaningful snaps as this team grows into a contender in 2021.

I think BroncoBalls was the biggest surprise of the season - what a dramatically quick flameout.

Walker hasn't been a surprise at all, IMO. I expected him to make the team at the very least. He has been injured and hasn't made an impact. I was hoping he would stay healthy and make an impact. I also feel like Bassey isn't really a surprise. We knew coming out of college he had a draftable grade and had a chance to make the team. He made it, but not like he has looked amazing, he is learning each week and hopefully will make an impact down the line.

Jewell is a good one. Even for me who poked at the "Jewell is going to get cut posse", on here, but he has played even better then I expected thus far.

I would go 1. Bolles 2. Jewell 3. Tim Patrick

Patrick has done some stuff for us as a depth WR for the past few years but the last two games he has looked like a legit starting WR.

We signed Covington to a reasonable deal which most thought was the end of Walker. We ended up trading Covington to Cincy.

Come on now. We are talking about the biggest surprise on the team and your throwing a guy out there with exactly ZERO tackles on the season. ;)

I was offering up someone else.
Bolles and Jewels are great choices.

My big surprise is that I have just as many complaints about the new offense - that I had about last year's offense.

What about Bryce Callahan as a surprise player?

Another guy that is playing really well, especially today was Malik Reed.

We get bouye back and Callahan moves to the slot.
The next two drafts should primarily be RB , Oline and defense .

would love a Josh Jacobs Type back we can ri for 3-4 years.

feels like Denver will be around 8-8.

elway tried to move up for Queen so I hope Fangio falls in love with a Lber mid round.

if denver can roll with Lock opens up the world come draft day.
