I am not referring to this Reindeer Games season. It is dumb, but it is harmless schlock. I was referring to the Cookout season and everyone associated with it.

yea... i had no problem with the cookout... but it is a shame that he is associated with it in that, i think he would really have been the best player in BB history... if he was able to play the game throughout and seriously...

He gets credit for lots of things... I said this during that season, and i still believe it... he had to be a plant... They wanted a black winner so badly, that they not only put enough black contestants in to start a dominant alliance, but they also had a backup plan... and that was X...

he was much more than just a normal recruit...

I really cant remember a competitor that checks all the boxes like he does...

You may very well be correct. But when they grease the wheels for certain people and handcuff the other players where they can’t even play, the stink is just too bad to get past. And the stink from that season lasted for multiple seasons after where no one could even reference that it existed in any other context than it was the greatest, most pure thing to ever exist.

Hard to see how X loses this with Cody out now.

Ironically basically the only thing that X is apparently bad at(awkward balancing of weights) is main reason Cody is out.

But aside from possibly Frankie. Who is beating X in anything? Josh? LOL. With X there really is no "equalizer" for women because hes really smart and good at things like puzzles/riddles/logic.

S26 starts up on Wednesday.

a few quick thoughts

1. don't like the cast... at least not yet... but I say that every season... so... not sure if it means anything

2. first HOH competition was awesome... love that type of competition.. its just the fairest type of competition...

3. the three nominations... on one hand it kills the back door... but on the other hand it gives the comp beasts one more completion to beast at... so it benefits the comp beast way to much... doesn't matter what the comps are...

4. Angela made an awful choice on her nominations... nominating 3 outsiders... if she thinks she will remain with the "IN" crowd then she is absolutely crazy... would have thought she would gravitate automatically to Kenny as they are playing the MOM and DAD role... and will play that role whether they like it or not...

5. I don't mind the AI twist YET... lets see how it plays out...

No way was the human form just AI. AI is not that good yet on video. That was an actress.
I don’t know, maybe it was the editing they did but I definitely sensed something was off when she started speaking.

On point 1 the only person I really don’t care for is Tucker, everyone else I’m ok with so far.

And I agree with her nominating Kenny, he wasn’t coming after her but maybe since he’s close with Matt and after how hard he’s playing plus the preview of a big blowup tonight she could’ve thought to go after him indirectly by targeting one of his allies.

I am having a hard time getting into this season so far. Maybe it is just because it is new and it hasn’t sunk its claws into me yet, but after I watched the first night, I totally forgot about it until Sunday night, when I watched both episodes 2 and 3 back to back. The HoH (the old chick) is a loon and will eliminated REAL soon. Whoever goes home this week will be entirely collateral damage. It looks like the house is getting pretty United in their “hatred” for her.

And her going is a very bad sign for Kenny. If the momentum of the house is to get rid of the seniors, he may be the collateral damage that gets hit this week.

Who is Tucker? Is that the dude who looks like a chick?

He’s the one with the punchable face, the dude who had to sit out the first HOH comp with Makensy because he didn’t get picked.

Edit: this guy

So who goes home tonight?

I am hoping the target stays because he seems like a decent player who is purely getting caught up in the wake is a loon.

I hope Kenny stays because, well, I am an old white dude as well, and identity is everything these days, so…

I don’t have a strong opinion of the gay Hawaiian. Gay dudes usually do OK in this show because they tend to make strong personal connections with, particularly, the chicks.

I guess I am hoping for the gay Hawaiian to go home, but I think the target will go.

I’m watching the episode now and she is insane. She’s having her meltdown in the kitchen with Matt and it’s crazy to watch. I don’t even think you can chalk this up to winning the first HOH and going on a power trip, she’s just delusional.

They gave added so many twists and turns that the game has turned into mob rule for the first half a season these days. Whats the point if everything done can just be reversed.

HOH needs to expose their game and declare war on people, but there is a decent chance they don’t even have any of their targets eliminated.

The worst example of this was the first week in Paul’s second season. The Marine had to nominate literally half the house because of all the twists, and it totally ruined his entire game. Both strategically, and it just made it impossible for him to enjoy the experience.

This will never happen because it would eliminate a lot of the drama, but…

Would having a season where the HOH is kept secret each week work? The other twists could still happen as well, but at least winning HOH would have so much negative attached to it any more.

I do like this seasons twist of no one knows who’s gonna be officially on the block until after the saving competition is played so you can’t really do that group vote.

Like unless you want the house to get together and say ”if it’s X vs Y we all vote this way” if it‘s “X vs Z we all vote this way” or if it’s “Y vs Z we all vote this way” but that’s incredibly stressful for everyone involved because you know it’s gonna get back to the person who was gonna get voted out they were the target if they didn’t save themselves.

I hope it’s the gay Hawaiian dude just because I think Matt has good potential to go far and I like Kenny.

Certainly would be better for the first couple weeks.
