Real question is, how will this effect the Championship run. If all conferences just play in conference then there is no way to really rank teams. Or can we just have a big all conference champs tourney to decide who the king is.

Go straight to the semifinals. Only need three weeks of games.

Two weeks later - final

Assemble the CFP selection committee with only one task. Pick a 4th team because we all know Alabama, Ohio State and Clemson are locks. Allow these four teams to start practice four weeks before the semifinal.

There are contracts in place for 2021 and that would absolutely impossible.

If EVERY conference is suspending OOC games, then it should be pretty simple.

No it would be a nightmare unless you moved all games that are scheduled in the future up one year. There are games literally scheduled 10 years out. Put some real thought into what you are suggesting.
