Michigan is rolling again - 20th commit is 4-star DT Henry Poggi out of Baltimore, MD. Mr. Poggi is 6'4", 260 lbs. and had > 20 offers, including ones from Iowa, Mich St, Northwestern, Ohio St, Wisconsin, and yes, unfortunately, Penn State. I have edited the list in the previous post to show all the Wolverines commits.

Don't think we had room for him. Webb was our #1 target and we got him. I think Vanderdoes is the only other DT they are pressing hard for right now. Focused on Dorian Johnson next week. Visiting Saturday and its mom's first trip to campus.....he would be a huge get considering he was a virtual lock for Pitt...legacy, didn't want to go far from home, but staff has done a tremendous job, now its a dead heat. Shouldn't be long till Fuller is on board as well.

Robinson's film is pretty impressive. Kid can run and is pretty physical for his size. Good to get back into FLA at a position of need. Apparently they were not impressed enough to offer 4-star Delando Johnson over the weekend after he camped there.

Johnson is listed as safety/olb at 6'2" 190. My guess is that they brought him wondering if he could cut it at corner (speed, fluidity of hips, etc), and don't think so. Definitely agree about the Florida thing, and it was good to break the drought.

Article I read had his coach quoted saying they wanted him as CB. Also seen some varying opinions on his actual size. Some say its closer to 5'11 170-180 range. Either way, we need DB's and he looks like he can play. If they liked him more than the 4 star who was pinig for an offer that they had seen twice in person, I am good with the offer. Time to reel in at least 2 of the 3 big fish....Johnson, Anzalone, Williams now!!!

I think you thought I was talking about Robinson. I was talking about (Delando) Johnson (the 4-star guy).

Yeah, my bad. I was talking about Robinson. Johnson is supposedly a tweener. Must not have looked like good fit for new system. Seems like he'd have been perfect fit under old regime. Not athletic enough in new system, will not miss bend but don't break all the time. Can't wait to see an attacking team on both sides of ball.

I know they love Boyd from Calirton in Pittsburgh as a safety, but are recruiting him as an athlete because he wants to try offense first.

Very good athlete, should open the flood gates at LB. I would expect Benton to drop soon along with either Deeb, Isaah, Stevenson or Anzalone. Think we end up taking 4 total.

I really like Gladney on paper. Hopefully he can add some good weight.

Huskers are hosting quite a few kids this weekend for "Big Red Weekend"

I expect 2-5 commits to come shortly after

Bielema has a bunch of guys coming into Badger camp this summer. Could be why they haven't been real aggressive lately. Their most recent offer went out to Gerald Owens, a big fullback/defensive end out of Jersey. 6'2", 235, 4.5 40. This kid has Badger style power back written ALL over him.

There was a tweet about a new commit but I haven't seen a name. The thinking is OLine.
