Gtown have a chance at entering the convo? If Illinois keeps winning that can get the Hoyas to 4 Q1 wins

I think they need a 4-1 finish to the regular season. The LMU and SMU losses really hurt their resume, as does their non conference SOS. Being 20-11 will certainly put them in the conversation. Adding a win against Nova again or Marquette would be huge.

Yeah figured they still needed lots of work because of that shit non con.

Unfortunately they only have 1 guaranteed big win left when they come to Milwaukee.

Beating nova again is BET dependent.

I think St John's will stay where they are. IMO there was a little bit of separation between St John's and the teams on the 9 line. But if the teams on the 9 line keep doing well they may slip to the 9 line. I was never really that high on Nevada seed potential. The committee put them at a 4, which was probably a seed line higher than I would have. I think now they are looking like a 6. Maybe a 7.

If things pan out, it's looking like they will be the 4/5 seed, so they could get Nova/Marquette in the semis. I don't think they win at Marquette. I think either way they'll have the opportunity to pick up solid wins in the BET. Whether that's a combo of Hall/St John's in their first game then Nova/Marquette in their 2nd game.

Nevada is interesting to me. How many more losses can they legit take and still be a lock ? If they lose 2 more is their resume really any better than Monmouth a few years back it Illinois State a few years ago ? No Q1 wins , pretty bad non conference sos . I know they're considered a lock but why ?

Their non conference SOS is actually pretty good at 50 right now. That Monmouth team had 6 losses entering the MAAC tournament. If Nevada gets to that point they will not be a lock. Nevada only has one loss outside of Q2. That Monmouth team would have had 4 losses outside of Q2. And I'm going to guess was something like 6-3 against Q1/Q2. Nevada is currently 8-1.

It’s really a crazy situation. Horrible resume but on paper a really dangerous team

And then whereever they are placed whether it’s a 6/7/8

That 1/2/3 seed is getting one hell of a tough break.
