Did anyone nearly cry during that intro with Jimmy working at Cinnabun? That shit always makes me sad for some reason

Love the use of time lapses. Looks like we're in for more BB excellence this year.

I thought S2 of Better Call Saul was better than the first two seasons of BB.

Are you referring to the Cinnabun thing? They do that at the beginning and end of every season. It's Jimmy after the events of Breaking Bad.

It breaks my heart every time- especially this particular one

I seem to remember hearing Gilligan mention that we will get more of Gene this season.

It's a device used to show the passage of time. Shows a bit of realism and provides a bit more immersion. Makes you feel as though the characters actually do things like Mike taking apart his car piece by piece trying to find the tracker.

Like this

Hours of footage sped up and condensed.

But yeah, there's a time lapse in the episode that speeds through a typical day of work for Saul/Jimmy at cinnabon.

Nice.... I want a bit more Gene than just the first and last episodes of each season. One kinda wonders if Gene gets taken to the hospital (and I'm assuming he could be taken there after the Cinnabon workers call 911)... will the authorities eventually find out about his phony identity?

Then again, Gene is the manager and probably will refuse to be taken to the hospital... he will probably not even fill out an incident report for store ownership so that the Cinnabon bosses remain unaware of his fainting on the job.

One thing I didn't get...

He is driving the wagon, and finds the tracker there. So then he switches the tracker to the sedan and Gus' people don't become suspicious? Or did he have 2 cars already and they bugged both cars? Wouldn't they still be suspicious that one of the bugs was stranded in a junk yard?

It is sad, I do have to remind myself that he did some pretty bad things and is still alive.

I thought S2 of Better Call Saul was better than the first two seasons of BB.

I'll have to watch season 2 of BB again. I thought season 1 was OK at best and did not even start watching season 2 until halfway through and I kept reading how good it was. IMO maybe the biggest difference in quality I have ever seen between a first and second season.

Better Call Saul has been excellent from the start.

I am watching Talking Saul right now...

Wow. Seeehorn (Kim) and Banks (Mike) REALLY don't like each other. Just look at their body language and their little ships at each other throughout the episode.

It was two different trackers.

It's been a while, was the wagon only purchased to do that job for a one time use?
