I did not know ncis came out of jag
There was an episode with Gibbs working with Harm and his team. It has never been released for streaming (lots of ‘80s and ‘90s episodes are lost to streaming due to music licensing) and I have never seen it, but there has been lots of direct crossover between JAG and NCIS:LA (Harm made a few appearances, for example).

The only reason I would watch that show was just for The Simpsons shorts.
I remember they released some Simpsons shorts during previews at movies in the early 90s. I specifically remember when the whole family went to therapy and they were hooked up to shocking wires and they all ended up basically killing each other as they fought with one another. The whole theater died laughing.

True spin off, or were there just some late references to B&B in KotH? Was Hank a character on B&B?
I guess I was wrong. Thought he was Hank in both

Was King of the Hill a spin-off of Beavis and Butt-Head? Not technically, but both were produced and voiced by Mike Judge. He did both Anderson and Hank as more or less the same voice.Feb 1, 2021

How much of the Star Trek universe is directly attributable to Star Trek itself? I'd say basically all of it.

I wasn’t challenging, I was genuinely asking. I appreciated B&B, but never really watched it (I liked the idea of it more than liking it specifically for itself). Same with KotH. I enjoyed the few episodes I saw, but I never made a point to do a proper viewing.

Yup. But are they considered spin offs or just part of a shared universe? A franchise?

I view Cheers and Frasier as two distinct entities. But TOS and TNG are parts of the same whole.

Phyllis was another Mary Tyler Moore spinoff. I forget if they did one with Betty White. Also, I guess Young Sheldon is considered a spinoff of Big Bang Theory.

Don't forget The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo, spun off from BJ and the Bear. Also I think Dukes of Hazard had a spinoff for either Enos, Cletus or Rosco

I can't remember. I do think it was Enos that got the spinoff though. Another spinoff that is pretty obscure and probably isn't considered successful was Beverly Hills Buntz, which was Dennis Franz doing a character he played on Hill Street Blues.

I tried doing a HSB binge a few years ago. It didn’t age well, and I was only able to get about 4 episodes in before bailing.

I do remember that Fran’s basically just took his Buntz character from HSB and reprised it for NYPD Blue.
