B12 is the only answer if you look top to bottom. If you look only at top 3 or 4 it's B12/B10/ACC. Under no circumstances is it any conference other than 1 of those 3

It's Big12 overall forsure.

Big East/ACC are kinda in a toss up. ACC having way more teams makes it tough to judge.

Translation: "I hate the SEC and you should too!"

Clearly the SEC is right there. Solid from top-to-bottom.

Providence is a two man show. The rest of their players are all fairly bad.

It's tough to ignore though. BE teams are beating each other. Out of conference they did excellent.

Providence is overrated. SHU and Butler underrated.

Lol. The SEC has perhaps 1 FF caliber but probably not even that. Being mediocre throughout the league doesn't make them a great conference. Interesting yes. Great no.

I'll say Big12, but so were they last year and they stunk it up in March.

Last year wast last year. The Big 12 killed it in the non conference this year. Beating teams like Villanova, Kentucky, and North Carolina head to head. Should have 2 one seeds and teams like WV, Isu, and Baylor should be seeded pretty high. No excuse not to have a good tourney this year with so many veterans.

The Big 12 is clearly the strongest this year. I like the ACC next; however The Florida win over West Virginia should have caught the attention of most folks as it indicates the SEC is not a doormat. We go through this shit every year and every year the SEC does very well in the NCAA tournament. There is a collective bias against the SEC in both football and basketball.....probably because the SEC does a lot of winning and we end up with some butt-hurt fans. That said, have to give it up to B!G wrestling. They are the best.

The SEC is 22-48 against the other P5 conferences and A-10.

The SEC is 6th in conference RPI. One Florida win over WVU doesn't indicate anything.

And also the SEC doesn't do very well in the tournament, it's basically UF and UK. The SEC is averaging LESS than 4 bids a year since they went with 14 teams and one of those teams wouldn't have made it, if not for winning the conference tournament(Ole Miss 2013, which was basically a mid major level of conference that year, see below)

Also the reason why people trash on the SEC:

2016 conference RPI: 6th
2015 conference RPI: 5th
2014 conference RPI: 7th
2013 conference RPI: 8th
2012 conference RPI: 3rd
2011 conference RPI: 6th

One good year going back the last 5 years, including this one, and in a couple of those years finished behind mid major conferences.

Also, judging conference strength in a one and done scenario is incredibly dumb when there have already been 30 games played to determine just that, including 12/13 OOC games which is a greater indicator.
