Well, if the FO believes beyond the shadow of a doubt that we will have an impact starter on the DLine a #17, then maybe they sign the ILB and WR.

The thing is that money should not be the problem here. There is literally no reason to have Lauvao or Hall on the roster at this time...NONE. They cost too much and are walking injuries waiting to happen. Those moves alone save close to 8 million. Factor in releasing Paul and Carriker and you are looking at a few million more.

These are simple and obvious moves that our FO refuses to make. That is why I am not excited about the draft. If we can't trust the FO to make simple and logical moves, what makes you think they will draft good players that address needs? The FO fired a solid GM and handled it in a poor manner, they refuse to sign the best QB we have had in 20 years and now they are sitting on their hands with our defense in a mess. Again, what evidence is there that they will knock the draft out of the park?

I can't think of 1 good reason why Hankins and Hodges/Minter are not Redskins right now. The DLine is barely improved at this point and we still have the worst ILB tandem in the NFL. I am honestly thinking about sending my resume to Redskins Park. Its not rocket science people. We aren't even bringing people in for visits right now.

We need an anchor in the middle for sure. First draft pick should be BPA defensively which will be a DE or ILB. This is how our remaining resources should be allocated.
