That's what makes him awesome. He's such a headcase he didn't prepare for the combine and even failed a drug test. By all accounts, he is a gigantic POS. On the flip side, he is apparently talented when he isn't trying to hurt players from the other team. At the very least, this will be fun.

His pro-day numbers were much better. There is an article in ESPN the mag that goes through his combine stuff and all of that.

I have zero issue with teams taking chances on questionable character players, but they should minimize the investment as much as possible. Here, the Bengals are signing the guy as an UDFA...zero risk. If he doesn't get it, or screws up, he gets cut and nothing is lost...not even a draft pick. If he stars or at least becomes a decent addition to the defense...then it's a solid signing.

This is a no-lose situation in my book.

I am glad they are taking chances on guys still, but I like the fact they are only taking chances on guys that are very low round picks or college free agents like "Defict" is. That is my new nickname for him until proven otherwise.
