It's a great win. This is how you are supposed to handle inferior competition. Not play down to them (or lose) as the Bengals typically do. KC also gave Pitt all they could handle less than a week ago. Dominated on the road no less.

They are a young, talented but poorly coached team. I think as the coaching staff gets more aggresive the players respond. I'll stand by my pre season prediction. They go 8-8. Next year they could make some noise.

Don't worry Kramer...undoudtedly the Bengals will have at least one more really shitty game this year. Then you can yuck it up about how terrible they are. For now, you're stuck with back to back really sound wins.

I was impressed by the effort today. This is the type of game that we've often mailed in and played down to the competition. Today the team played with a sense of urgency, Marvin showed some balls and there were very few mistakes. Granted the Chiefs suck and they'll lose to almost everyone in the league, but kudos to the Bengals for keeping it out of reach.

We play some shaky teams the rest of the way - Oakland, San Diego, Dallas, and Philly. We'll also play a game against the Ravens where they could be resting starters if they're locked into a two seed.

I think we finish 8-8, but wouldn't be surprised if we get out to 9 wins and are watching scores in week 17.

It's possible. Marvin needs to keep coaching like we have nothing to lose. The fake punt, going for it on 4th and 7...that is what set the tone. When he get's ultra conservative/careful is when we get a touchdown lead against a crappy team then slowly let them back in it by being way too conservative.
