They cutting their losses with White after the season?

It'd be hard to justify keeping him. Never would've guessed the gap between him and Cooper would've been THAT far.

Guess that's what shattering your fucking leg in half two seasons in a row will do.

That is a disappointing pick. Not a fan of drafting receivers that high, but I did think White was going to be a good player.

Will we get any surprise changes? It's not going to happen, but what if the Packers parted ways with Mike McCarthy? I think the line would probably be longer to ride Aaron Rodgers' coattails than it would be to give molding the Bears a shot. Guys like Jon Gruden would probably even consider coming back out of the booth to "coach" Rodgers.

If the Cowboys parted ways with Garrett? That's a close one. The Cowboys are closer to a Super Bowl than the Bears right now, but they've also got higher expectations and a meddling owner.

Lots of 'ifs' to consider. We should probably re-address this at season's end to see who all gets pink slips.

Thing with the Cowboys is that Jerry needs a puppet and legit coaching candidates won't work for Jones, and he doesn't want them

Ya coaching AR would override any rookie. All coaches want a team they can win with and look good. But my point is/was coaches will want to come to Chicago now and did not want to in the past.

Parcells was a legit coach; granted, Jerry drove him to retirement. I think he does want a legit coach, but I'm not so sure a legit coach wants him at this point.

Id say thats a fair assumption

Are the Giants with a Top 3 pick appealing?

Does Bill Obrien get deservedly fired? the Texans with Watson would have to be a pretty appealing job

Im sure Jack Del Rio will get canned, the Raiders situation isnt terrible

I dont like Winston, but the Tampa job may appeal to some guys, like Gruden

Who we missing

The guy in Indy

Hue in Cleveland, ( he's been there two years so they'll shit can him)

Oh and the ginger in Big D, I got a feeling they'll look for escape goat and he'll be it!

He drove JJ out of town...Its pretty apparent he calls the shots with the Cowboys, and I think his ego wont allow a strong personality (say like a Gruden) to come in and grab that power

The Indy job is only appealing if you believe Luck isnt Chad Pennington and his career is truly in jeapordy

I believe you are correct, sir. The Bears are positioning to break out in the next couple years and given the right coaching hire they could be serious NFC contenders soon.

It looks to me like the NFC North is positioned to be the toughest division in football in the next 5 years.

I'm very very happy with that pick. Stats don't show the real story. Trubs has every tool mentally and physically to be a great QB. His team believes in him greatly.

To be fair, I heard the same about Rex Grossman and his "IT" factor

He did have the "IT" factor, he just was a midget with lil' baby hands and glass knees.

Trubisky is a much better QB prospect. Anyone with functioning eyes can see the difference.

I like Trubisky, but he has a lot to prove.

I have 0 issue with Bears trade

The bears are held back by more than just coaching/OC.

They still have some serious questions, if those questions are answered highly, they'll be competing for division very soon. But there are legit IF's and legit reasons to doubt

I don't think McCarthy is a lame duck coach and don't consider it being "stuck with him". I don't necessarily agree with some of the decisions he's made in certain situations, but overall he's a solid leader of a football team and is a pretty good fit for the Packers organization. There's no one currently on the market I'd rather have coaching my team.

A fresh face running the defense is welcome, though.

For record, Bears rebuild is following what MN did

Build a good dynamic defense and find an offense.

I think they're on right path, just think a little overly optimistic. I think Pace should stay and Fox should go
