Going to take time with Trubisky. Give it a couple of years and we will have a better idea

I don't think McCarthy is a lame duck coach and don't consider it being "stuck with him". I don't necessarily agree with some of the decisions he's made in certain situations, but overall he's a solid leader of a football team and is a pretty good fit for the Packers organization. There's no one currently on the market I'd rather have coaching my team.

A fresh face running the defense is welcome, though.

I think MM is good, but not great coach that has benefited greatly from Rodgers

and while it's tough to judge a HC for not having more than one SB (as a vike fan) when you have Rodgers, hard to consider one SB appearance a success

I don't think it's wrong to keep him and it would be gamble to seek an upgrade, because you can do much, much worse

Will Harbaugh leave Michigan for Chicago and reunite with Vic Fangio? A great DC and big loss for us.

For sure. Everyone on the planet thinks Rodgers should have more than one. While the QB is certainly the most important position on the field, it takes a full team effort and a hefty dose of good fortune to win a Super Bowl.

Rodgers would probably have a fistful of rings right now if someone - anyone - on the defense pulled a Malcolm Butler every once in a while.

Harbaugh recently said Chicago is his dream job because we drafted him. But i don't see Pace giving up the power Jim would want. Altho the timing is right and Fangio is already here. Who knows.

What would Harbaugh want?

OMG the Ryan brothers in Chicago would be so great.

I think Coach Khakis is a good bet.

LOL!
Yea, I'll be shocked if Jeff Fisher lands a HC job this soon. For Pete's sake, he had 3 QBs on this team and all of them looked abysmal under his coaching (Goff, Keenum, Foles), yet with new coaches/teams, all 3 of them start playing really well. That is damning evidence.

The Bears are in a division with the Packers, Vikings and Lions. Which ones will they beat to move up in the standings?

And which out-of-work coach will the Bears go for? This is a season where used coach shopping doesn't have much but lemons to choose from.

His selling point will be he finds postseason qbs

Bears have a good RB, and some good players on D. Book is still out on Trubisky. And now the Bears are without draft picks.

I wouldn't say most enticing. NY Giants maybe. Or Lions if Caldwell is canned.
