But there is no way with a straight face you could sit there and tell me 'Yeah, happy we made that pick'

Not yet anyway
I'm very very happy with that pick. Stats don't show the real story. Trubs has every tool mentally and physically to be a great QB. His team believes in him greatly.

Good Luck, I dont hate him or the Bears, I just havent seen anything that shows me he was a better pick than any of the QB's that went after him

Well you don't watch every Bears game and practice. I do. He is very talented and very smart. The Philly game is his low point but all rookie QBs have good and bad games.

Im trolling? The Bears wins this season have come on the shoulders of solid defensive efforts

Trubinsky's numbers and performances have been pretty brutal

In his defense, its the worst WR corps in the history of the NFL

But there is no way with a straight face you could sit there and tell me 'Yeah, happy with made that pick'

I am very happy with the pick, for a number of reasons.

1) I am well-aware that our WR corps was the worst in the league BEFORE we lost our top 2 receivers and top TE.

2) I don't give two fucks about a couple of mid-round picks, to get the franchise QB, that I think he WILL be. The media and you lemmings made that mole hill into a mountain.

3) If you have watched the games you'll know that the coaching staff hasn't even really let him play until the last couple of games. He had 7 attempts in a win FFS.

4) Kid can make any throw, is very accurate, and is a good to great athlete, on top of being a a good kid.

5) The Bears have gone my entire life without really taking any big chances on a QB, and were in their best draft position in my life to take one...and DID. Hallelujah.

6) The Bears have an archaic defensive-minded coach, and a very average OC. This will change this offseason, and like OP mentioned, there should be the pick of the litter for Bears' brass.

7) His name is not Eli Manning.

8) The kid is the first to show up at Halas Hall, and the last to leave.

9) He has showed me enough to know he will steadily improve, and in the coming years, he is going to r@pe the NFL in its butt.

10) The Giants suck.

That game snowballed before it even started. The Bears' first few offensive possession were behind in down and distance before even snapping the ball on first down. First and 20, to start all three drives, all deep inside their own redzone, save for one possession they squandered near midfield.

Philly is blowing out everyone right now.

Thats all very nice...Good Luck, none of what you stated has transferred to actual games

Correct on #10

Youd give your wifes' vagina for him to have the career of #7

Oh noes, a rookie QB on a terrible team didn't take the world by storm in year one. Who would've ever suspected?

Get real.

Ive already stated the best thing he has going for him is the same was said about Goff last season

So he is not football dead forever

I think John Fox has the same affect on young talent that Jeff Fisher does

No.7 is done and No.10 is just starting. But you'll get your own No.10 this draft. Others that don't watch him will say it was a bad pick but you will know the truth because you watch him very closely.

Trubisky has, yes, sucked. The obvious caveat is also that he is a rookie with nada at WR. It’s not really an indictment that he sucks on a sucky offensive roster.

He does, but he is gone and good coaches will line up to take his place because of Trubs and recent drafts by Pace.

Bingo, all ive basically said, maybe overstated the "Wrong Pick" thing, but its a long way from being the "right pick"

Trubisky reminds me a lot of Goff last season.....struggled to complete passes but Trubisky has also shown some flashes when I have watched them....He also has some talent in Howard and Cohen. But, they need better WR's.

Chicago has a nice defense so they have some building blocks in place for a new coach to work with.

Sucked? He has not shined yet but he has not come close to sucking yet either. He is doing the best any young QB can on a shit team with no WRs and a shit coach holding him down.

That’s fine, I disagree with it, but I hear where you’re coming from. This level of production is not at all flattering regardless of talent.
