It does correlate though. Yes the competition is better. But to say it doesn't correlate is silly.

If a running back does well in college at breaking tackles...do it correlate to the NFL in spite of defenses being bigger and better?

It's sort of moot because the Browns aren't a heavy blitzing team. They play a ton of Cover 3 and try to get pressure with Garrett and Clowney. They have a very vanilla defense and try to just line up and beat you. Fields won't see a lot of exotic looks.
Not gonna argue, if for no other reason than I want what you want and that is for our boyz to win on Sunday. I have very little confidence this will be the case, but I'm going to watch every second of the game regardless, and root like hell for a dub.

I don't think the Bears win this one. I do think it's gonna be a closer game...at least until late in the 4th.

But I don't think it's impossible for them to win. Defense has to be able to stop the run. Can they? I have no idea. A healthy Goldman would certainly help. Nick Chubb is always one carry away from a 50+ yard touchdown.

If Peters and Ifedi continue to play well like they have...I like our chances of containing Garrett and Clowney.

Let's hope we're both wrong!!!

Peters just got beat by a DB.

Anyway, sure there will be plenty of good and bad, saw Robinson dancing around before making a cut and actually started to make a cut when Fields had to get rid of the ball.

but best thing I saw is Andy Dalton with Fields on the sidelines explaining what he saw. How many years has it been watching bear quarterbacks staying away from each other on the sidelines.

Fields looks scared. He doesn't look like much... neither does the Oline or DBs.

Oline needs to get it together. A false start on 3rd and 1 ?!?!

Bears have 37 yards total offense with 12 seconds left in 1st half. This is not what a franchise QB does.

I watch other teams rip off yards against the Bears and all I can think is... wasn't Nagy supposed to be this offensive guru?

I am so tired of inept offenses year after year.

Big question now is: Will the Bears get 100 yards in offensive production?

how do you allow your quarterback to get sacked 10 times?

1. Do not chip with a tight end
2. use a silent count and every time Daniels sticks his arm out. your center snaps the ball.

No one second, two seconds, three seconds, just arm out and go.

How can anyone not put that on the coaching staff.

We do not have receivers that can get open other than Mooney. Chip with a tight end, then toss him the ball.

Jeesus Christ, that was just awful.

Foles should start next week. The o-line was shit today, but the scheme was worse. I did not see one chip on Garrett all fucking day. Nagy did absolutely NOTHING to establish some semblance of rhythm with this kid. Obliterated any chance of Montgomery or the o-line gaining any steam. He is the WORST coach in the NFL. Just moldy dog shit.

Fields looked fucking awful. 100x worse than Trubisky EVER looked. THROW. THE. FUCKING. BALL!? Way too hesitant. All but 2 sacks were TOTALLY on him.

Positives: (Ugh) Robert fucking Quinn seems to be finally coming around. Great game for him today. Jaylon Johnson is a lockdown corner. Absolute stud. Odell's one big play should've been an offensive PI.

Dude. Don't worry, he has stopped wearing a visor, and that's really going to make the difference.

That game was a huge downer. 1 net passing yard? Ouch.
