Drank my bottle of red Sox wine last night. 2011 cab. Little hung over but worth it. Amazing season.

I finished with a pour of Johnny Walker blue.

It went down smoother than ever.

Congrats to the Red Sox and their fans.

That was one hell of a year. They clearly were the best team in baseball though the regular season, and then tore through the postseason, going 11-3 against three fantastic teams. Their postseason opponents had an average regular season run differential of +213 and the Red Sox played .786 ball against them.

That is their fourth championship in the last fifteen years - that's as many as the rest of the AL combined.

Very impressive.

Don't you dare try to piss on us today. Sure a huge payroll was a factor, but prior to this year the Dodgers had the highest payroll for years and didn't win it. Red Sox have to be credited for being smart with their money, and of course so many of the core players were home grown.

What a year. They were the best team right out of the gate and held that title all season, then they had to go through two 100 win trams, then played the best team in the National League and they destroyed all of 'em. Everyone kind of played as expected, except Mookie until the end, with the exception of Joe Kelly and Matt Barnes. Anyone who has watched those guys all year knows what happened in the playoffs was toyally unexpected and the reason they won.

The Bullpen in general was a big surprise. Price pitching well too.
