We will see how he does at the next level. Bama has so many guys that get ridiculous separation. He also gets great protection. I think that makes it hard to project his future. You are convinced he is football, I guess we will know in 5 years

not shocking. Offenses are setting new records every year as offenses become more open and the rules continue to be skewed toward offense. My comments are merely on whether he is a truly great QB and that it is hard to tell that because he has amazing toys at his disposal

And he does more with thsoe toys than others. Not to open an old wound, but it will make sense. Colt McCoy or Gilbert? It's the same thing, just at a different point in the season. Colt was the starter for a reason, and he was a better QB with the same toys than Gilbert was. Gilbert did fine in relief, but he couldn't do Colt stuff. Same with Jones. He can do fine, but he cannot do Tua stuff. Either way, we have a helluva game on our hands, and it is almost time for me to switch to the Iowa State @ Kansas State game! BTW, solid win over TT and good luck to Texas in their Bowl Game.
