Can a B1G team ever win another Natl Title in Baseball?

Didn't Michigan come close last year?

Its tough from a recruiting stand point. It would take a special run like UM had last year but its not impossible

Well, I'd never complain if Minny pulled off a 4th Title, would be a great way and/or reason/excuse for John Anderson to retire maybe? Go out on top, winning your last game for a Title no one thought you could ever win. Would be sweet.

Hell of a comeback for Illinois

Unfortunately the chucker Frazier couldnt make 2 shots. Lost by 1.

Either Nebraska was playing out of their minds or maryland totally took the game for granted.

Can this be considered a "bad win"?

Its really amazing the consistency with which teams , who cant shoot vs anyone else, can sll of the sudden make 27 foot step back 3s against Iowa. Its something else

Hopefully CJ is ok. We are down to like 3 scholarship players

Iowa giving up 93.4 ppg in conference road games vs teams not named NW or Nebraska. So thats good

    Such a uniquely weird season

    So many 16-8,17-8 teams

The race to see who finishes 4th in the league is going to be fascinating. Honestly if I had to guess I'd probably go with Wisconsin. I feel like they have the easiest remaining schedule. I could see them going 5-2. Which would put them at 12-8.

Yeah that's a tough stretch at the end. I'm not even sure you'd be favored in your 3 road games even with him. And then you play two games against teams you already lost against. Hope his injury isn't serious.

It doesnt look too good . Every game is tough in this league though lol. CJ doesnt get as many props as Garza and Weiskamp but he may be just as important as either. Hes our best defender and floor spacer. Without him weve really only got 1 outside shooter ( if you dont count Garza ). Man i cannot wait til next year when everyone is back healthy. That team is going to be loaded

Bummer. Hate when injuries have an affect on a team. We've been without a starter for a couple games that we've lost, which would ultimately keep us out of the tournament.

And yeah next year Iowa had a chance to be a top 10 team, assuming everyone comes back.

Id be surprised if anyone leaves early but a starting 5 of

    Bohannon
    Fredrick
    Weiskamp
    Nunge/P McCaffrey
    Garza

Would likely be the best offense in the 35 years ive been a fan . The level of shooters around one of the best bigs in the country would be amazing.

Well hopefully CJ isnt out long . Hes missed 3 games this year and we are 0-3 in them

Bummer, last time I check, which was a while ago, it just said for the near future. Kid has had a tough go of it.
