B1G fans. I'm being told by someone the B1G should add Kansas along with Notre Dame. I understand why people think Notre Dame makes sense, but Kansas? What the hell would Kansas add to the B1G? Does B1G BB need help?

It was super fun watching UMn get out to a 14-0 lead vs Miss St, but I think they may have needed a 25-0 start to end up as victorious?

I could be wrong? I hope I'm wrong. But I think Miss St is the better team, but just maybe the Gophers can pull this off?

Minnesota is obviously not a Title contender, hell they may not be a contender to make the NCAA tourney, but before the season they were considered almost unanimously to be the worst team in the B1G this season, and their starting out 6-0 and now today leading Miss St, has to be seen as a good sign for the Conference as a whole. Even if all UMn does is manage to get into the NIT and as we often have done, win the thing, that has to be seen as a big plus compared to expectations going into the season.

Minnesota already with more wins than anyone outside of Minnesota predicted them to win the whole year. And three ROAD wins in a row probably gives them more road wins than they had all of last season?

Minnesota, the B1G team with the fewest home games played so far this season. Makes our success so far a little more significant. Sure our schedule hasn't been wrought with huge opponents, but still out SOS ranks Top 40 by TeamRankings and ESPN. Another site had them ranked 28th in SOS.

Not worried about it one bit. I laugh at it and honestly prefer to be the underdog. I hope being disrespected in the polls fires up the Gopher players. Just makes you wonder if the AP poll voters even pay any attention to what goes on?
