I posted in another thread about rating all movies on a scale from 0-5 with half stars for each movie I've seen, and then aggregating the average score for every movie they've been in for a particular actor. I thought we could do this here. It could go two ways; I'll post one first and then the next person can post their individual ratings for that actor, and then name another actor and post that ratings. This is similar to other games we play on here. We could also just post random actors and aggregate their scores and follow the poster-to-poster flow loosely. This could be fun as I would be willing to aggregate the overall ratings of every single actor from every poster.
The third option of course, is no one gives a shit, and no one replies to this thread as no one cares. This seems the most likely course of action.
RULES:
I will start with three different actors. Here we go:
Michael Shannon:
Groundhog Day: NA
8 Mile: 4/5
Kangaroo Jack: NA
Shotgun Stories: 4.5/5
Take Shelter: 4/5
Mud: 3/5
The Iceman: 3.5/5
Man of Steel: 2.5/5
99 Homes: 4.5/5
(I didn't include the 4.5/5 TV series Boardwalk Empire)
AVERAGE: 3.71/5
Brad Pitt:
True Romance: 4/5
Seven: 4.5/5
Fight Club: 4/5
Snatch: 3/5
Ocean's Eleven: 4.5/5
Ocean's Twelve: 2.5/5
Inglorious Basterds: 4.5/5
Moneyball: 4.5/5
Fury: 3/5
The Big Short: 4/5
AVERAGE: 3.85/5
Matt Damon:
The Talented Mr. Ripley: 3.5/5
Ocean's Eleven: 4.5/5
The Bourne Identity: 4/5
The Bourne Supremacy: 2/5
Ocean's Twelve: 2.5/5
The Departed: 5/5
Contagion: 3.5/5
Elysium: 4/5
Interstellar: 3.5/5
AVERAGE: 3.61/5

RULES:
- Give the average rating at the end
- If you saw a movie in its entirety, but didn't rate it at the time, or forget your rating, you can just write NA, or not include it. Don't include it in your average rating calculation obviously
- Only credited performances (i.e. no Sam L. Jackson in Inglorious Basterds)
- TV shows are optional, but you should probably account for the whole series. Therefore, voice cameos in Family Guy don't count, but if you've seen a full series and want to rate it, that's cool
- Go in chronological order of release dates for convenience purposes. You can just type in the actor's name and then "filmography" and go to Wikipedia to find out every movie they've been in
- Only performances as an actor, no directing count (i.e. a movie someone directed, but didn't appear in)
- Rate on a scale from 0-5 with half stars/0-10 without half stars, or 0-5 with no half stars. No bullshit like 8.75/10. That shit drives me crazy. I have always reviewed movies on a 0-5 with half star scale, but any of the approved methods are good
- Round to two decimals in the averages
- If the consensus is to change one of these rules, or add a new one, then let's do it
