Yeah, there will be some motivation by UCinn, due to 1 what it would mean to their program to knock off a decently ranked Ohio State team, and 2, Luke Fickell would love to knock off this old team he coached as interim head coach (lead the Buckeyes to a 6-7 overall record), and defensive coordinator. The Buckeyes should win this one, but without some fight from the Bearcats.

Yeah this is our off year regarding playing another major team. UC is probably a top 25 team to start the year though, so it helps. Then we go to Autzen in 2020.

Hardly unproven. What he's done the last two years with JT Barrett and Dwayne Haskins made him a pretty hot commodity. I have little doubt that he'll beat michigan with the same ease Tressel and Urban did.

For all we know? Urban had Barrett before Day was there, and he was a dud for two seasons. Then Day got there and he had the most productive season of his college career.
