I am sure every knows Asante Samuel is available for trade from the eagles. I do not see us going after him, as for now I think we are set as the CB position But this board has been dead lately so just trying o make some conversation.

If he ends up getting traded where do you think he will go?

Maybe to the Rams? Or to the Cards to make up for pissing DRC away for Kolb?

Anywhere but the Niners.

Pats wouldn't be dumb enough to trade for him with his enormous contract.

WTF. Eagles gave him away

Not really. Trading away Samuel for a 7th is like giving away a car worth $5,000 on which you owe $4,995. His value as a player doesn't out-weigh his contract by very much (if at all).

If you gave the car away you are still obligated by contract to pay the lien holder the 4,995.00 dollars... If you Sold the car 5,000, paid off the 4,995 and netted 5 dollars, then i guess it would be like trading him for the 7th

They got him to restructure his deal though so it's not as bad now.
