I agree with the few sub-par seasons, but what the hell is par for Bill Belichick? My guess: they won't have the horses in the stable to be a very good team, but will still over achieve. The Pats are not gonna jump on a vet FA they want to sit and wait see who does not get an offer then buy cheap if they make a move at all.
I think this is all about a youth movement in NE. There is will a few sub par seasons, troll will banter we ain't shit without TB blahh blahhh

Let see, 2000 5 -11, 2008 11-4, 2018 2-1... I get 18-16. Am I missing something?During the BB era, the Pats are 14-6 without Brady.
This is not intended to belittle Brady or imply that this team is a SB contender without him.
I’m just sayin’...I wouldn’t get the shovels out just yet so long as Bill is drawing breath.
2000 5 -11
My bad forgot about the pre-Brady season.Let see, 2000 5 -11, 2008 11-4, 2018 2-1... I get 18-16. Am I missing something?
I knew that, but it's more fun to play dumb. (do I sense someone about to tell me I do that well?)My bad forgot about the pre-Brady season.
I’ll give him a mulligan on that one, since he was mostly working with the Grier/Carroll roster the first year.

I was told that hardly anyone had actually signed a binding contract. As with most contracts, they are contingent on passing a medical exam. Big problem is that no one can fly to team locations and get an exam. Some teams will not accept just any doctors okay, other want both medical and orthopedic exams. Brady and the Bucs agreed to a New York City MD who has NFL experience because TB can drive to the city from Greenwich, CT.
My guy says that some players are getting pissed because they want signing money etc. and teams aren't going to pay anything unless they're 100% sure the players are 100% ready to play. Some players think that teams are holding back because they may be able to find someone cheaper. NFLPA is trying to step in but if a player won't go get a physical from a team approved doctor, what can they do?
How about the team drive a doctor to the players' homes and do the physical? I would think that there must be a bunch of different options available. How about the player drive to the team physician's office?
Who? (yes I actually know who)Dorsett signed with the Seahawks
Stephen Gostkowski released.
