I don't think its realistic for the team to sit Joe..... The fanbase is divided between those that are disinterested and those that are outraged. This is an organization that is in desperate need for a new face of the franchise. They'll sink or swim with Joe.

If they cut Dalton loose, the show will be Joe's from week 1. If they keep Dalton, it would make sense to start him for a few weeks and ease the youngster into act.

I'm telling you. Lamar Jackson is a bum. A great season, true. But he's not going to repeat that. I'm still glad he's a Raven.

There have been plenty of players for the Steelers that I would label as "Bengal-killers." Troy was definitely close to the top. He wrecked games. Truly one of a kind.

I can never get a bead on BAL...I said something like that LY and he ended up being MVP. Back in Sept it looked like a potential sweep year but I was happy with a split, instead the season blew up in our face and PIT got swept.

In spite of the MVP season for Jackson, the Ravens surprised me more on DEF. I still feel as if Jackson/BAL will have to develop a real passing game.

It's probably silly to overreact to a pro bowl competition, but it does potentially highlight an important point - He still has some work to do as a passer. And you can be darned sure that defenses are going to learn how to take some things away from him this year. Baltimore is still one of the top 2-3 teams in the AFC and Lamar is one of the best playmakers in the game. But he'll need to continue to evolve.

Baltimore as a team, looks terrible on paper to me. That defense was hugely surprising. I still don't get it.

Right now...the blue print is Mahomes.

The perfect blend of athleticism and arm and we saw him use it in these playoffs, to buy time just to throw the ball away, extend plays, and make plays running. Jackson has quite a ways to go to reach his level as a passer.

You can always count on the Ravens to be stout in the middle with Brandon Williams...They were not great on the edge, but they were a very effective blitzing team. I think both CBs played over their heads.

I still don't see how they went 14-2, but eventually I bought in so I was surprised to see them go one and done.

I just don't see him getting to Mahomes level. Mahomes has an extra gear - Even when he isn't bringing his A game (for example the Super Bowl), he is patient and pulls plays out. And his physical talent as a passer is remarkable. At this point, I'd have a hard time betting against him winning multiple Super Bowls and MVPs over the next decade.

Nowhere close to Mahomes level as a QB....Mahomes is a distributor first that has good wheels. He's not trying to beat you running, but if you give it to him, he'll take it.

Multiple titles...very possible. KC is going to have to pay Mahomes a boat load of money soon. Guys like Frank Clark ($22m) and Sammy Watkins (21m), Tyrann Mathieu (16m) are going to be hard to keep....especially mid level guys like Kitchens (12m)...no way they will be able to hold that SB roster together when the Brinks truck leaves the Mahomes residence.

But...the good is they can lock him up now, and the new money hit the cap until 2022, after they excercise the 5th yr.

How long it's been since each team in the league came in last in their division.

If not for 1988, their number would be 1969.
