...For the LeBron guzzlers to proclaim that he's the GOAT simply because Jordan never faced anyone as good as the Warriors in the playoffs?

Well be prepared because you're going to hear a lot of it the next five years.

Bump. LeBron played very well in last night's Game 2 but the Warriors were just better, and the Cavs' mediocre defense was exposed.

If the Cavs are in fact swept by this all-time great GS team, how do you folks think it affects LeBron's legacy?

Agreed. LeBron is sort of playing with house money this year. Winning would do a lot for his legacy, losing doesn't do much.

As long as he doesn't do something stupid like bench himself halfway through a blowout or say something really dumb.

Yup, not one bit...People without a reserved hatred for Lebron realize what he is up against this series.....Shit, vegas realized it by making GS more than 2-1 favs

I mean lets be real, Deron Williams, Richard Jefferson, JR Smith, Iman Shumpert, Kyle Korver

These are guys getting important minutes on the Cavs

What else needs to be said

I just don't know if a sweep would look good on his GOAT resume. Would like to see the Cavs win at least a game...

I don't think a sweep happens, but if so or in 5...not much as it pertains to being an all time great, but the GOAT talk is done, and it takes a short term hit for getting wiped off the floor.
I mean this isn't exactly 2007 against the Spurs, as some people were picking the Cavs in this series, and also people kept talking about how Lebron was KD'S kryptonite. He's also aligned with 2 other stars, and an array of shooters. Like I've said before, Kobe didn't get a pass for losing to a superteam in 08, and I'm not willing to give Bron an out here. Still a great no matter what happens though.
With ALL of that being said, lets let the series play out first.

Warriors aren't unbeatable. They can be exploited inside and they the turn the ball over a bit too much. Spurs would have given them all they could handle if Leonard/Parker played

I would MUCH Rather play this Warriors team than any of Jordan's championship bulls team or the 86 Celtics or 87 Lakers or A few of those early Kobe/Shaq lakers teams.

Cavs are getting abused because their defense has been shitty and suspect ALL YEAR. Lebron isn't a great defender and hardly anyone else is on that team either. Thats why they are getting manhandled.

There's a reason why LeBron plays the "free safety" role. He's not a good defender and it's showing.

Yeah, for the majority of folks, Lebron is in their top 5 all time. I don't think that changes if they lose. Especially if he continues to play as well as he has been.

A pathetic 3-5 Finals record impacts you negatively. Bottom line.If you are trying to be compared to the games all time elite. No other top elite all time great has a LOSING finals record.

If he gets swept again (with his supporting help on that team) its gonna look even worse

How many people have Wilt in their top 3? Top 5?

Wilt was 2-4 in the Finals. This for a guy who once scored 100 points in a game, took home 4 MVPs and had a career average of 30 points 23 rebounds per game.

How is lebron better than Wilt in that perspective?

He played in a different era and a different position. Either way, he right at 5 or 6 IMO. LOL at basing players on Finals record, his ranking has zero to do with his Finals record. He was a top 3 center or all-time
