Agreed great teams do make their own luck.
Was the Butler play lucky? It's debatable. They practiced it, he made the play. However, like I said many times the correct call would've been Wilson rolling out. Which you are likely correct Wilson strolls into the EZ.

No, Butler was not lucky. He made a great play to end the game.

You ain't too swift, are you Sparky?

Tell me, who lost SB 49?

Then tell me when the Seattle organization put you on the payroll?

Those answers will clarify things in your feeble mind.

You're welcome :thumb:

It was at a low level of probability that Welsh missed the FG, so that like the probability of hitting tomorrow's powerball (albeit it at a different level), luck was a component.

Russell's missed throw was decided upon and executed at a lower level of competence than Butler's interception. But to compare Wilson's slight miscue with Malcolm's greatest defensive play in SB history is a disservice to the QB ...
So then you are saying that Butler's interception in the SB was luck? Also how old are you? "Greatest defensive play in SB history" you say, have you watched all 49 SB's?

Yep, saw an interview with Butler and he said Lockette gave up the slant route by planting his right foot heavily in the turn and Butler just beelined towards the slant and basically got to the spot at the same time... Lockette didn't sell it well at all ... Still though....#Q$^@#$^@#$^#!$^#!@ hand the ball to Lynch... lol ok I"m over it....

LOL, "broke what to me". Dude you are a young punk that probably has seen maybe 3/4 SB's in your life, now you think you know everthing about football. You better grow a pair, before you tell anyone to go to bed.

They JUST won a game.

You need language help. Feel free to PM me if you need some assistance.

Aas to your original point - yes, it's shorthand that gets used every day by any number of posters in here. We are not employees of 'our' teams. We're fans of 'OUR' teams.

But you know this.

You're just being a dowdy seventh grade English teacher. Do you have the wobbly underarm fat peeking out from your frock?
