Yeah, he'll get first ballot; but he does not belong in the discussion with the all time greats of Montana, Brady, Manning.
I certainly would be happy if he was passed over on the 1st try
Dilfer didn’t win 4 league MVP awards, did he?Is he really a Hall candidate?
There is the 1 SB win discussion.
Should Dilfer be in the HOF?
Yeah, me too. I can't stand the guy but he's a first ballot lock. The 4 MVPs (even though I think the last one is questionable) along with a SB and his career stats seal the deal. It's not really debatable at this point regardless of what a total douche he is.Makes two of us. I don't see it tho.

Since going to L.A. and winning that SB, Stafford's HOF stock has gone way up, I think. He is looked at in a much different light now then he was in Detroit. To me, his stats says it all. 492 td & 112 int; impressive. 1 SB is not impressive given his talents he did win a SB when others haven't.
I worry about Stafford getting into the hof; he has 1 SB and his W-L record is not great, 103-112-1. He's more a of leader than Rodgers but I don't think that counts in the hof.
Morbidly Vicios Prick? He will get in first ballot, he is the only 4 time MVP.
Was Dilfer hated everywhere he goes?Dilfer didn’t win 4 league MVP awards, did he?
I don’t think that’s how voting works, Skippy. Was Dilfer hated everywhere he goes?
Hall Of Favorites? Absolutely makes a difference.I don’t think that’s how voting works, Skippy.
I love calling people who are making bad arguments Skippy. They get triggered everytime, which of course is the reason I do it. And you sir are making bad arguments. Aaron Rodgers is a Hall of Famer. Period.Hall Of Favorites? Absolutely makes a difference.
Skippy? Who the fuck are you?

As for Rodgers and the one SB, I'm kinda meh on that. It's a team accomplishment as much as anything. Drew Brees only won once but I think most people consider him a first ballot lock as well. The SB just kinda seals the deal when guys play 20 years and have the other accomplishments, imo.
Watching the trainwrecks that are the Jets and Panthers I honestly did not know that there were so many bad owners. As a Washington fan I always assumed nobody had it worse than here, but these guys are getting into Snyder territory.
Skippy? Who the fuck are you?

Yeah I agree with this. That's why I said they were getting into Snyder territory because I know they aren't there yet. I was also more talking about their ability to run a football team not their personalities. Snyder wins that hands down. That I'll disagree with you on a little bit. Woody and Tepper might be every bit of the moron that Snyder was in terms of running their teams.
But both of them combined aren't anywhere close to the evil, piece of shit that Snyder was. And it still took years of mismanagement and terrible treatment of employees and fans to get him out of there. And he still got a giant golden parachute up go away.
As far as I know, the only other owner to ever get fired is Donald Sterling of the Clippers.
1) they are opinions, not arguments. I am not trying to convince you or anybody else.I love calling people who are making bad arguments Skippy. They get triggered everytime, which of course is the reason I do it. And you sir are making bad arguments. Aaron Rodgers is a Hall of Famer. Period.
1) i'm not arguing. Not trying to convince anybody.Skippy is appropriate in this thread based on your posts.
Your criteria seems to be multiple SB wins in a team sport for NFL HOF
Here are other QBs with less than 2 Super Bowl wins in Super Bowl era... you are going to argue they all need to be removed from the HOF?
- 0 Super Bowl wins: Fouts, Kelly, Marino, Tarkenton, Moon
- 1 Super Bowl win: Dawson, Favre, Warner, Young
I love to break out Skippy when posters share bad opinions as well. And no son I don't call everyone Skippy. Only idiots who claim one of the best QBs of this era is not a Hall of Famer type of opinions get that label.1) they are opinions, not arguments. I am not trying to convince you or anybody else.
2) It breaks my heart that you call everybody "skippy" I no longer feel special.
3 You mention "period" That explains a lot.
