This correlates pretty strongly with a garbage run game

GB1- 45 passes, 17.7% 12 carries, 2.9 YPC, 2.5 Yards before contact
NO-54 passes, 22% 7 carries, 2.4 YPC, 1.31 YBC
Phi- 21 passes, 23% 16 carries, 2.9 YPC, 2.35 YBC
LAR-43 passes, 18.6% 23 carries, 3 YPC, 2.2 YBC
NYG-41 passes, 24.3% 19 carries, 2.4 YPC, 1.5 YBC
GB 2-53 passes, 26.4% 23 carries, 2.9 YPC, 1.3 YBC

Bears are third worst out of 32 teams in dropped passes. A few of them were TDs others were drive killers.

Well this another instance, where everyone else who views the game, and documents it, has 3. But somehow, you see things differently.

And advanced metrics , and basic stats.
Stats tell you what happened, not why. Why is what is important.

Mitch Trubisky is currently tied with Carson Wentz for 17th in the league in bad throw percentage, which I have to admit was a surprise to me.

2019 NFL Advanced Passing | Pro-Football-Reference.com

He is also 17th in On Target %

2019 NFL Advanced Passing | Pro-Football-Reference.com

The NFL average for bad throws is 16.75% and Mitch is at 18%.

In games where he throws less than 40 passes his off throw percentage is 13.1%.

Do you even realize how utterly horrific that is for a QB who attempts passes beyond "short range" at one of the lowest clips in the NFL?

The more interesting piece is that the games where has the most bad throws are also the ones where the Bears cannot run the ball and throw a lot of passes.

Oh, wow... it's almost like the Bears trailed in most of those games and he had to throw the ball downfield.

No blocking to go down field. QBs fault right?

Almost but not at all. Bad play calling. Last week GB ran pass defenses the whole game and we passed 53 times to 13 rush attempts. Go watch the tape never lies utube.

So, the stats say he didn’t drop a ball. But you say he did?
Where’s the why in this equation?
WTF does this mean? Bears have the third most drops in the league. It's a stat so you should like it. Me I think stats are for idiots.

anthony miller has 3 drops. Your reply was " I saw him drop alot of balls, box scores dont explain the "why".

Whats does THAT mean? Why did he drop the balls? .............

Why do you thin he dropped more than he did, hes balling out

We have already been over this. Mitch's time to throw in the pocket has been roughly league average this season.

And regardless... That does not change anything about him being horrifically inaccurate with a clean pocket.

LMAO... Pat Mahomes attempts the most downfield passes in football (well, him and Winston). No shit.

No shit. We couldn't run and then we had to rely on Mitch to be able to throw the ball downfield. Where he failed epically and as a result? We go 1-5 in those 6 games.

Basically, this proves that when we need to rely on Mitch to win a game. It typically turns into a catastrophe.

You are saying this after you've cited statistics in this thread to try and form an argument.

Good lord, dude... Pull yourself together.
