Foreign substances have been used from baseball day 1. MLB does a lousy job of enforcing that rule.

Why doesn’t the league just sanction an approved substance where everyone can use it taking away any advantage?

MLB has already tinkered with the 7 inning games of doubleheaders and xtra inning games with a base runner started at 2nd base. Both awful ideas.
