Difference is..................

Wilson has NEVER failed in the playoffs........................NEVER.

Neither has Rodgers. Failure would imply that he played badly. Rodgers has never had a bad playoff game in his career except maybe the game against the Giants in 2012

Wilson played badly against the Saints last year.

It wasnt a great game, but he didnt turn the ball over and his offense held the lead the whole game.

Nobody is gong to argue that Rodgers isnt élite. But what you just said here is a far cry from Luck in the postseason.

Which is why i've never said Luck was elite. I think he's on his way to being elite but he's not there precisely because he turns it over to much.

However, that doesn't change the fact that his degree of difficulty on a game by game basis is much higher than Wilson's.

Im not a seahawk or Wilson hater. I actually think Wilson will be elite one day and i am a Richard Sherman fan etc.

But put this way. Luck's mindset going into every game is that he has to be great just to give his team even a chance to win or else they likely get blown out. This causes him to take lots of risks with the football. It's not the only reason but it contributes. That's a lot of pressure on a young, growing quarterback.

Wilson's mindset is that he doesn't have to be great for his team to win because there are other things things that he ca rely on, mainly an elite defense that will stop any offense. He doesn't need to take any uneccessary risks with the football. If he plays great, than that's just icing on the cake.

But that's my point. He didn't have to do anything really and his team still won convincingly. All he did was not turn it over.

If other quarterbacks played the way Wilson played in that game, their team would have been annihilated.

Mostly False.
Luck puts his team in poor position. Therefore making it more difficult for his defense.

Brady was the guy Rodgers might be and Wilson will. Desean Brady most passes without an int, best td, int ration till Rodgers surpasses it ( 100 game) most playoff wins, tied for most SB appearrances, almost .800 and wins at home since 2006 in reg season vs AFC . 5-11 before

It would be really interesting to be able to have players switch teams and replay their careers to see how things turn out. I'd love to have Peyton and Brady switch places as well as Luck and Wilson. I'd be curious to see how much our perceptions of the players would change (or maybe not change... who knows?).

The Colts have been average to below average on defense for all of Luck's tenure in Indy. Couple that with no running game and no offensive line and you get some unnecessary, high risk throws from Luck.

When Brady was chasing the TD record in 07, I remember a quote from BB that was somewhere along the lines of, "im grateful for all his TDs, but what i really care about is his lack of turnovers."

Just heard collinsworth say the Seahawks have the number one rushing offense and total defense in the NFL.

Aaron Rodgers is jealous.

Those numbers are skewed as Wilson would be the leading rusher on half the teams in the NFL.

Honestly, I didn't think Luck had a chance. At one point he was 10-14, and 3 of those incompletions were balls that clanked off Dwayne Allen's skillet hands. The Cowboys should have let Carr check Allen, it wouldn't matter if he came open or not. After that, they were so far down, the pass rush was pinned back, and his OLine was banged up. I suspect he'll be alright

Luck missed TY today and Wayne is not 100%, Colts had lots of drops. Luck has played poorly for a few weeks though.

Luck has no offensive line, no running game and no defense. The Colts aren't a good football team by any stretch of the imagination.

This is the attitude that I don't understand when people talk about Luck. His OL isn't that bad at pass blocking and his D is average.

People act like there is no Colts team at all without Luck but that is a load of crap. Their D manages to keep their heads above water much of the time despite him leading the league in turnovers (3rd in INTs and 1st in fumbles).

Look. There is no doubt that Luck is a damn good QB who can make spectacular throws but he turns it over way too much. He had cut it back some early in the year but he regressed back into bad habits. Instead of kissing his ass and acting like he entire rest of the Colts team is horrible, how about give credit to some of the rest of the team for their accomplishments and fairly criticize Luck for his errors.

I don't know what his issue is over the last 3 games but he has not been good at all. He is 57 for 109 with a 52.3% completion percentage, 590 yards for 5.41 yards per attempt, with 4 TD against 5 INTs. Luck was brilliant for much of the mid of the season after a relatively slow start the first few games but he is struggling at the moment.
