Spent a good part of the day reflecting on sailors lost. I saw two aircrews killed in 36 hours while in Miramar and a pilot I liked a lot died in a crash after his plane caught on fire. He punched out the back seater but tried to bring the plane home. Saw a couple of guys killed on the flight deck but did not personally know them. Here's to their memories and all selflessness.
