Amobi Okoye

The Cowboys are showing interest in free agent DT Amobi Okoye.

The Cowboys need line depth after losing Tyrone Crawford for the season and Anthony Spencer to left knee surgery. Okoye is familiar with Dallas DL coach Rod Marinelli after spending time with Marinelli in Chicago last season.

I wouldn't mind bringing in a real DT. Move someone out to DE, & suddenly we wouldn't be the smallest line out there anymore.

I can see how Houston wasn't a good fit for Okoye - but I don't understand this Odyssey career of his and why he's not firmly established with a team - and disappointed that it wasn't with da Bears...twice ! ! !

Man if we grabbed any guy off the street right now ..... I'd honestly hope it would be Seymour.

He can play both tackle and end ..... and if do some hybrid situations ... he made his name as a 3-4 DE

To me that's the best option on the D-line we could go after

Plus a guy with a ring on those fingers.... Guys tend to listen to... might bring in a winning mental factor.

Just have very low expectations of him. He's had the "potential" tag on him his whole career.

I watch this kid play 3 or 4 seasons with the Texans he looked lost and didn't seem to have the motor to get the job done. He was a kid plan a mans game dude was drafted at 19. I just don't see it with him.
