The league wants a mint for the rights, but Amazon has the cash to burn.

Their pricing for subscription will be interesting as well as any extra content they provide beyond the games themselves.

BEZOS MUST OWN ALL.

I won't, but I already have Prime so I can only hope.
Same here. Last year Amazon had some of the Thursday games that was included with membership, so we'll see how it goes.

it wont be cheap this is what direct tv paid 2014 :suds:

Although other satellite and cable providers supposedly are allowed to bid on the rights to carry NFL Sunday Ticket if they agree to carry the NFL Network, DirecTV decided to extend their current contract beyond 2014 by paying the NFL $1.5 billion per year for the next eight years.

That is pocket change for Bezos.

Worst case he'll charge Prime Customers.

Best case is that it'll attract another 100M people at $99 a year and he'll bump up Prime $15.

Free shipping alone pays the fee. I've spent more than $10,000 in 2021 alone on Amazon Prime . Shipping would have cost me at least 20% more on top of that. I'd gladly pay an additional $50 a year for Sunday Ticket.

It would only be included in Prime if it lured in enough new subs. Not sure this is broad enough to do this, so not seeing this as part of Prime.

Think Amazon Music Unlimited, which is a monthly sub outside of Prime.

There is no way this stuff gets balanced out through Prime Membership. This is probably one of those things where they are borrowing from an area more profitable to make Prime more attractive. Shipping costs just went up last month and they'll go up again next month so I doubt Prime is looking to absorb crazy NFL premiums.

Can't see how streaming Sunday Ticket will be better than having it on cable.

I tried DAZN 2 years ago when the NFL sold Canadian rights to them.

The country rebelled and the cable companies were allowed back.

Streaming is so clunky it would make watching the way I do impossible.

The NFL will have to step up their game. Last year 75% of the games were like watching paint dry. The players disrespect the anthem and this year they're playing the black national anthem whatever that is. I'll stick to free feed thanks

I’d rather Bezos spends his money buying the Broncos.

I got used to using prime overseas. Easy to order and get stuff.
I have kept it here and it provides the occasional movie
