I think Rico could do serious damage as a receiver but it seems the coaching staff thinks otherwise.
Yeah I don't get that either. I think they want him to pay some "football dues" before he gets more playing time.

His decision making in the pocket doesn’t suck. He’s just not as good as Romo. There were no issues with sacks in the past. This board is comical. When Romo got sacked a lot, 100% of the blame went to the Oline. When Dak gets sacked, it’s him. I’m not sure if you guys watch the games. Dak gets sacked way too often against 3 and 4 man rushes. Garrett and Linehan don’t scheme enough read option, play action, or quick passes for Dak to get the ball out quickly. The sacks are more of a scheme and Oline issue than it is Dak holding the ball too long.
You have a short memory. Romo was pure gunslinger and very turnover prone. And please don’t ever put Romo and White in the same sentence as the two best Dallas QBs ever.Earl with all respect your wrong
Dak Prescott is holding the ball 2 long
he is damn sure not Tony nor is he Troy
Dak is not a elite QB
I watch the game he holds the ball way 2 long and has a problem holding on to the ball
2 interceptions Today why because he held the ball 2 long
The Oline is not the same as 2016 but Daks decisions in the pocket suck compared to Tony or Troy Or Danny or Roger or Don and that's how he gets judged fair or not
I agree. The difference between the cooper trade and Galloway/William's trade is we gave up less and cooper is younger and a much better receiver than those two guys.We stole him....

I was very much against this trade of Cooper for a #1 pick. I wouldn't have given a second rounder for him. But, I am very happy to have been proven wrong and knowing that the pick is now #27, in retrospect I now think this was a very good move for this team. It will be tough not picking until the end of the second round but if we keep drafting well and are able to find some talent we should be able to keep moving forward. Plus we do have cap space for a FA move which could offset not having the first rounder too and give immediate help and also have a young team that should just get better with another year of experienceSo I think Amari was well worth pick number 27. Looking forward to seeing him with a new OC. Amari can do it all. The guy runs the best routes of any receiver we have had in the past 20 years. The fact that he runs great routes means the new OC can get more creative. Imagine Amari lining up in the slot on occasion and creating optimal matchups.? He made Marcus Peter's his bitch in the playoff game. Hindsight is telling me we ran zeke too much. Drew brees is going to carve up the rams like we should have
How's that ''Decline'' theory working out?Oh really? Wrong again, Earl. Dude, do you even double check your nonsense before posting? It's pretty obvious you don't. And you're saying I haven't done the research ...
Brandin Cooks three prior seasons leading up to the first trade...
2014: 10 Games, 53 catches, 553 yards, 10.4 ypc, 3 TD, 76.8% catch
2015: 16 G, 84 catches, 1138 yards, 13.5 ypc, 9 TD, 65% catch
2016: 16 G, 78 catches, 1173 yards, 15.0 ypc, 8 TD, 67% catch
Cooks last season prior to his second trade...
2017: 16 G, 65 catches, 1082 yards, 16.6 ypc, 7 TD, 57% catch
Cooks so far in 2018 through 7 games is on pace for...
2018: 73 catches, 1300 yards, 17.8 ypc, 5 TD, 73% catch
That's pretty damn solid and consistent production, especially considering 2017 and 2018 were/are Cooks' first year in new offenses.
Amari Cooper last 3 full seasons prior to yesterday's trade...
2015: 16 G, 72 catches, 1072 yards, 14.9 ypc, 6 TD, 55% catch
2016: 16 G, 83 catches, 1183 yards, 13.9 ypc, 5 TD, 63% catch
2017: 14 G, 48 ctaches, 680 yards, 14.2 ypc, 7 TD, 50% catch
Amari Cooper far in 2018 through 6 games is on pace for...
2018: 59 catches, 747 yards, 12.7 ypc, 3 TD, 69% catch
Between Cooper's 2017 season and 2018 season (so far) there is clearly a decline from his first two seasons. Same Quarterback, a lot more drops.
Meanwhile, Cooks is who he is, there is not much guess work with him, teams know what they are going to get with him. On the other hand, who knows which direction Cooper is going to head from here?
I dont like Cooper.
He blew up & became a big thing then nose dived.
He is fools gold.
I’m an idiot for stating a statistical fact. The idiot might be who ever approved that trade and Dallas gives up a top 10 pick for an OK receiver who is owed a new contract too.
Wasnt trolling at all. I don’t think you give up a potential top 10 pick for an average receiver who is nearing free agency.
I'll tell you what. You have 6500 vbucks. I will bet you that 6500 that the Cowboys pick would not have been top 10. In fact, I'll bet you it won't be top 12. Now put up or fly away
You said they have a good chance of winning the division so I’ll bet you $6500 they don’t win the division. I don’t think the Eagles will either just cause we have the Rams and the Saints on the road and the Skins have an easy schedule.
So is PE1 gonna take the bet? Don't be surprised if he flakes on you and doesn't honor the bet.
He still owes me for two lost wagers.
Hmmmmm...
Been welched on by reptec, no surprise PE1 follows suit
So how did this turn out?
We know he was wrong on all accounts, but did he bet?
