Well these guys are about making money. I would say going against the other 31 owners would not do well for helping him continue to make money. It doesn't do well for the league in general to have this be the top story line over and over again during this off season. Even during a slow time all this does is look bad for the Patriots and look bad for the league. Nobody really wins in this situation other than the media.

I mean they burned the evidence to protect the Patriots from further scrutiny. While yes I am sure there is plenty of dirty laundry on other teams the league has done a lot to help protect the Patriots throughout the years. I would say if anything Kraft owes them a bit for protecting his team when the league didn't have to.
