right now counting the 7 on the IL-60 we have 47 on the 40-man. Lyles and Holt are the only free agents after the season. so we have to find 5 more to DFA at the season's end just to get to 40 plus we have at least 5 or 6 that we have to add to the 40 to protect them under the rule 5 draft or face losing them. that adds up a total of 10-11 players that we have to cut, trade etc and that still doesn't leave any room for the obligatory level 5 FA's that JD likes to bring in
